So I was in Academy looking at automatic assault rifles and banana clips and decided I needed another AR 15. I was looking at the display behind the counter and noticed the typical selection of shotguns and rifles but didn't see and of the military grade automatic assault rifles. Well it turns out they had them but don't display them anymore. What's up with that? They had plenty of them but they were hidden from view in boxes under the counter.

Decided I needed another before Dear Leader or cankles bans them permanently in the next 6 months to 2 years.

I was able to purchase this scary looking weapon of mass destruction in about 5 minutes since I have a concealed carry permit and didn't need a background check. Scary to think that the gun I purchased so easily will now obviously be used in a school shooting.

I don't have 30 guns like sys but I am getting closer.

2 questions.

Do you live in or near OKC? If so, there is a much better and cheaper place to buy those weapons of war. Spend less on the machine gun and more on ammo. I happen to be a good friend of the owner.

Did you get some extra 30 magazine clips for your military death machine?

So you agree on gun control via more extensive background checks?
I am all for more extensive background checks, but they need to fix the broken, current background checks system. When several million felons aren't even on the list...sh!t needs fixing.

Before we go and enact more laws why don't we try and enforce the ones already on the books.

Obama screams about gun control after every shooting except those that involve minority on minority. The fact is under Obama prosecutions of federal gun laws are way down.

Explain that one to me liberals!

Clearly a lie. You called them banana clips not banana magazines. I bet you don't even own a gun.

Funny, the local gun store ain't owned by a liberal. Your conservative cronies who sell guns to anyone might be an issues worth fixing don't ya think? But anything to make some money huh?

Well it's not like taking money from shitty foreign governments or pay for play from shady people or anything. Gun store owners have to pay the bills.

Nobody on the left seems to give a shit about Fast and Furious, so why do you guys get your panties all wadded up today? The Obama administration INTENTIONALLY sold guns illegally and "lost track of them" and you crybabies just shrug and say "common sense gun reform."

Sounds a lot like Republican presidents of the past. I guess Obama is quite a bit more middle than left, huh? After all, he kept thousands of drug war officers employed and we didn't repeal the Patriot Act. LOL - you conservatives are dumb as shit!

Not near OKC but I get to OKC a couple times a year. I will give you a shout next time I need another. I have about ten 30 round clips already so I didn't get anymore with this purchase.

It's already extensive. How much more extensive should it be?

That's complete BS and you know it NP! There is no federal regulation requiring background checks it's a state to state issue and it's stupid.

SmartGunLaws.org...

The most dangerous gap in federal firearms laws today is the “private sale” loophole. Although federal law requires licensed firearms dealers to perform background checks on prospective purchasers and maintain records of all gun sales, it does not require unlicensed “private” sellers to do so. An estimated 40% of all firearms transferred in the U.S. are transferred by unlicensed individuals.1
According the U.S. Department of Justice, because federal law does not require universal background checks, “individuals prohibited by law from possessing guns can easily obtain them from private sellers and do so without any federal records of the transactions.”2 “The private-party gun market,” one study observed, “has long been recognized as a leading source of guns used in crimes.”3 Although the private sale loophole is frequently referred to as the “gun show” loophole (because of the particular problems associated with gun shows), it applies to all private firearm sales, regardless of where they occur.4

Right on. He sells more guns than anybody in OK so his volume allows him to get price breaks others can only dream of. He makes his money on volume and not high profit per piece. Plus he gets some really cool allocated stuff. He is also selling some guys pre-ban class 3 collection, so if you need a Russian 50 mm mortar with shells, RPG launcher, .30 cal Browning M1919 machine gun mounted on a tripod, etc, he's got that stuff too. Lol.

Very cool! Is his place near Reno?

Clinton, how would that have affected my purchase?

It wouldn't have, but you're likely not a felon either, or on the no-fly list, and you're probably an American citizen. Why have Republicans continually shot down legislation that would REASONABLY restrict gun sales to those who aren't allowed to have them?

Seems pretty F'ed up to me.

I only cry (after laughing myself to tears) for those who believe more paperwork and more regulations will stop any of these killings.

I'm not saying gun violence is ever going away, but you'd be a fool not to admit we can do better.

Then don't cry for dead cops when you put guns in the hands of those who shouldn't have em.
So tell us where the shitbag in Dallas got his guns. With a dumbass loser statement like that, you should have solid answers.

Maybe we shouldn't be giving vets guns until they've successfully passed PTSD protocols upon coming back? There is a very rate of suicide there, ya know...And that shitbag, while I'm happy he's dead, could've been exercising what he felt were his 2nd amendment rights to armed overthrow of a tyrannical government.

You won't ever see me get violent with a cop, but it doesn't mean I've never wanted to either. Many have overstepped their boundaries in this country, and it's a big problem and a main reason why stuff like BLM even exists.

You know it too.

When our do better doesn't work, what then?

I don't know man. All I do know is a majority of this country wants stricter gun laws in some form or fashion. Again, if it doesn't change, nobody should be weaping for dead cops, or dead blacks.

Many felons aren't on the list as it is, same with no-fly and non-citizens here in the states. Fix what is broken before you worry about expanding it.

More laws doesn't always translate into better laws.

Thanks for serving. Your 2nd amendment rights are suspended until you can prove to me you're not crazy.

I'm not the only American who believes this...MANY do. And you conveniently omitted the high rate of suicide.

LOL...you know I'm highly intelligent and it intimidates you.
yes you got me. Read up on the laws already in place and maybe I wouldn't make those comments. Hey did Russ sell more jersey's the KD last year? I swear if we ever meet in person I will treat you like the POS you are Big Show. IF I ever go to Washington we will meet Big Show and I will DDT your dumb ass. You insult more f***king people on a general basis then anyone I have met. You are a rude dumb obtuse person and frankly I am tired of you running your mouth all the time. I would love to stand face to face with and let you spill at the mouth like you do behind a key board. I imagine the encounter would end with your panties on the gear shift.

Drunk driving kills far more people than guns do in this country. Want to save lives? Focus on that. Have a good day.

A few have overstepped their boundaries but those numbers are few and far between when you consider the numbers of police encounters which occur daily with no problems among people of all races.

The bigger problems are the reactions to police encounters where the narrative is pushed by race baiter groups and politicians based on what turns out to be bogus claims and statements. I cite Ferguson and Baltimore as recent examples of riots occurring based solely on witnesses telling lies and city officials perpetuating the violence and aftermath by erroneously blaming the police and rushing to judgment. Then, after the investigations and trials, we learn that the facts of the events are the opposite of the narrative the media, the liberal politicians, the race baiters and the Civil Rights division of the unJustice Department foisted on society.
