I don’t think there’s anyone U23 that could take it at that weightDustin came back with the match 10 to 10 Karchla had to default with an ankle injury after a Plott take down Plott wins the tournament and hopefully will be the World team member.
That would be great because last year I remember the Penn. St. multi- National Champ took Plott's spot.I don’t think there’s anyone U23 that could take it at that weight
Only the top 3 senior men can take a U23 spot if young enough. That would be Burroughs, Marstellar, and Ringer. All over 23.That would be great because last year I remember the Penn. St. multi- National Champ took Plott's spot.
This time Cardenas got in too deep on several double legs and scored 6 and at least 1, 4 point shot. Luke scored most of his points on a takedown and 5 leg laces. Cardenas was too good on his feet for Surber.Cardenas mostly did the shots and Surber was able to expose Cardenas back.
Not saying it wasn’t the right call, but he was a judgement call away from a 16-6 win….This time Cardenas got in too deep on several double legs and scored 6 and at least 1, 4 point shot. Luke scored most of his points on a takedown and 5 leg laces. Cardenas was too good on his feet for Surber.
Surber gives up his legs, gets taken down, leg laced , match over. The strategy that won the 1st match was poison for the 2nd and 3rd matches, his opponent came strong and under control and Surber had no chance to expose. No sprawl at all for Surber on is opponents' shots. Well 2nd isn't bad, but at least Plott won.Not saying it wasn’t the right call, but he was a judgement call away from a 16-6 win….
Gotta be the one pushing the offense I think. Seemed to startle Cardenas the first round.
Just try picturing this whenever a post seems off to you. 😀Put them on ignore. It’s like they are not even there.
Edmond North has built a very good program. They are fun to watch.I know it's not exactly surprising, but Little V showed up to the Southern Plains Regional wrestling for someone other than CWC (some club from Ohio), but what was somewhat noteworthy was his match with Routledge (Edmond North). Routledge only won by 2 (8-6), but Kael couldn't get any offense of his own going it all. 2 of his points were on a 4-2 exchange from a chest wrap on a Routledge double and the other 4 were from a broomstick off of Routledge being in on a single and getting a little sloppy. Routledge controlled the ties and dominated the action. Good win for an Oklahoma kid.
Next match, finals, Routledge did almost **** the bed though... the other kid got in on a shot and got a pretty tight gut going for 3 turns before Routledge finally woke up and par tarred out, then went on to get the tech on takedowns for an 18-8 win.
I'm pretty sure Routledge is rising Junior so his recruitment opens up soon. I'm not sure what his ceiling is going to be, but I do think he's going to be a very high floor, consistent type of wrestler, definitely upper tier D1 quality. I hope we're able to snag him, don't want to see more D1 talent leave the state.
They certainly have and they are a blast to watch. They have several kids in addition to Routledge I would like to see end up on our roster, even if they aren't all necessarily starters, they are all proven competitiors and would be great additions to the room in my opinion.Edmond North has built a very good program. Totally random but I was driving around Stillwater the other day and noticed a sign in a yard advertising roofing.I believe it said New View Roofing and had Vic Voinovich’s name on it 🤷♂️I know it's not exactly surprising, but Little V showed up to the Southern Plains Regional wrestling for someone other than CWC (some club from Ohio), but what was somewhat noteworthy was his match with Routledge (Edmond North). Kinda like how Trevor is still running his zoo? LolTotally random but I was driving around Stillwater the other day and noticed a sign in a yard advertising roofing.I believe it said New View Roofing and had Vic Voinovich’s name on it 🤷♂️
Trevor is no longer on the teamKinda, only difference is according to Wrestlestat Trevor is still on the roster.
Trevor would be welcomed back with open arms if he wanted to come back.Kinda, only difference is according to Wrestlestat Trevor is still on the roster.
Only if he can get off bottomTrevor would be welcomed back with open arms if he wanted to come back.
No he would notTrevor would be welcomed back with open arms if he wanted to come back.
from what I was told, by someone with the authority to say, yes he would. No he would not
Checkmatefrom what I was told, by someone with the authority to say, yes he would.
Also yes. Dude is a legend and was a blast to watch. The more Cowboy legends we can get back in town, the betterBy the way heard 2nd hand Guerrero hired for rtc coach , thought something was up not sure what , glad having him back, mending fences with cowboy legend sounds pretty good

Walk on would be the only way back, but will never happen because he would have to sit behind Datonfrom what I was told, by someone with the authority to say, yes he would.
He was not dismissed he chose to walk awayTrevor's is an odd case. If he was just done with wrestling or worried about injury or Stillwater wasn't a good fit we'd have heard something by now or he would have left town. He could've easily transferred to many other schools and started. The fact that he's still in Stilly, didn't attend a single wrestling event after his "injury" and nobody's uttered a peep about it leads me to think it's something more along the lines of a dismissal from the team which would imply that he would not be welcome back. But him not transferring to wrestle elsewhere makes it seem like he's fine with that and fine with being done with wrestling. All speculation of course.
just keep moving that goalpost. The path doesn't change the fact he would be welcome.Walk on would be the only way back, but will never happen because he would have to sit behind Daton
Not a chancejust keep moving that goalpost. The path doesn't change the fact he would be welcome.
So he could come back and sit behind Daton. But no chance that he is welcome back? Which one is it?Not a chance
There’s no use in discussing it he is not coming backSo he could come back and sit behind Daton. But no chance that he is welcome back? Which one is it?
Christian is a pretty good spokesperson for the program. Not bad at wrestling too.
It’s the right kind of swag too…all on the mat, no drama off…This is EXACTLY the kind of swag our program needs. "You forgot we're the bad boys, well the bad boys are coming back. We're the ones with 34 National Titles". I love it!!!!!
