Documents seized by FBI were already declassified ...

Somewhat serious questions, knowing full well this isn't the place to get serious answers, but if the DOJ and FBI were really this concerned about the documents (and I guess the "leaks' have said they are pertaining to nuclear secrets). Why wait so long to do the warrant? I can see giving him time to return documents as a courtesy but if you thought they were nuclear and you waited 18 months, what an absolute failure to do your job. That should be enough to lose someone a job (at least in the private sector).

My guess is this is just a big ball of nothing, which typically is all anyone has ever really been able to "get" Trump with.

This will go nowhere.

“Declassified”

LOL what a lying sack of traitorous 💩

Oh goody another one of the back half of the bell curve members.

Trump can classify of declassify docs as he sees fit, with a few exceptions. My guess is he legitimately declassified the docs and then some stooge within the gubberment half-wits saw something while watching child porn and decided to try to punch his ticket up the next rung of the leadership ladder in the DOJ or FBI.

This will be a big ole nothing burger........AGAIN. You moron liberals just don't get it the more nefarious BS you pull the more you are driving previous lukewarm Trump supports into his camp for 2024 and the republican camp for mid-terms. Just astounding how you idiots can't let go of him. Reminds me of an old tale my granddad told me about getting bit by an alligator snapping turtle. He said don't let it happen because you have to cut the turtles head off and even then it would be a year before the turtle finally lets go.

And just in case you get confused how all this has worked for the last 6 years, here is just one of the examples of rank hypocrisy exhibited by the federal government.

I doubt that kid has ever seen a turtle.

You are asking a key question here. If trump has nuclear codes, you don't wait. That being said any codes Trump would have would be immediately changed if they were still active, which a year and half later those codes have long been changed. The larger danger is for someone trying to figure out how the codes are put together, and how they are changed. On top of that, they said a National Achieves documents, of which nuclear codes and information would not be a part of. So much doesn't add up. I want to see the affidavit, but even if they release it, it would be heavily redacted, and provide very little information. Not sure either side will win any kind of information war here.

I still have lots of questions myself. I'm waiting on more data.

Just got finished reading the warrant and the inventory list.

I'm going to point out a couple parts of the warrant I found interesting.

The locations to be searched include the "45 Office," all storage rooms, and all other rooms or areas within the premises used or available to be used by FPOTUS and his staff and in which boxes or documents could be stored, including all structures or buildings on the estate. It does not include areas currently (i.e., at the time of the search) being occupied, rented, or used by third parties (such as Mar-a-Largo Members) and not otherwise used or available to be used by FPOTUS and his staff, such as private guest suites.

This may explain why they waited until he left. If he was there, they would most likely be limited to his office, and storage room. With him gone they increase their places they are allowed to search.

There were 26 boxes, with three times that Confidential documents were mentioned, three times that secret documents are mentioned, and 4 times Top Secret documents were mentions, and only once SCI documents were mentioned. Most of those are associated with a certain box. The SCI document reference though was to documents to a very different type of container listed as a leather bound box.

Before everyone freaks out on the classified documents, it is common for Presidential libraries to carry classified material that have not been declassified by the originating agency.

The one document that stands out to me is the SCI document in a leather bound box. This is most likely the target of their investigation.

That being said the documents they were requesting were very open ended, and not very specific. "Any physical documents with classification markings, along with any containers/boxes (including any other contents) in which such documents are located,". See above, any classified document, is open ended for a presidential library. You have a high probability of finding that in any Presidential Library. It's like asking to take all the lightbulbs in a house. Oh, yea...While you are there, getting the light bulbs look for anything else.

I don't like it, and think there is some room for challenge based on vagueness, but you wont win unless you go all the way to the SCOTUS, and that's a big ask, and you still pose the risk of losing the case.

Let the political assaults' on each other commence, with wild speculations on what all that means.

The codes aren't written down. They are totally obfuscated digitally until they've been properly presented with an authenticated executive order. Having a document with nuclear codes makes no since what so ever.
Shit britches tell you this? Nancy? Kamala?

How often?

How often?
How often are they changed? I have no idea. But they they'd never be in clear text like on a page of paper. They'd be encoded digitally in any launch mechanism.

Now, could there be other classified material related to America's nuclear arsenal? Sure. Asset location, warhead design, yield, policies, procedures. You name it. But not the actual launch codes.
