I fully agree with you. Marxist-Leninism and Stalinism (what the USSR became after Lenin died) and an authoritarian/dictatorship system (i.e. rejection of democracy) have shown to be failures. Hell, even Trotsky broke with Stalin over this and was killed for it.
However, I don't know of any relevant politician in the USA today who adovcates for these systems. Sanders sure doesn't. I don't know of any other Democrat who does. Even your girl who claims to support socialistic domestic politics doesn't advocate for the above. If you know of one, please let me know.
I do know though of an American leader who loves to embrace authoritarian leaders and celebrate them. He loves to shower praises on a former KGB agent. (who helped him get elected) He enjoys photo ops with an authoritarian Juche-communist (a variant of Marxist-Leninist ideology) dictator that amounted to nothing for our country or the free world. Do you happen to know who this leader is Ponca?

Have you ever had any experience with government programs? If anything government run healthcare would massively increase the number of quacks. Making matters worse they would be government employees making it impossible to fire them and answerable to know one. Of course no politician is running on Stalinism or Marxist-Leninism even Lennon didn’t run on his authoritarian style government but it damn sure turned into one didn’t it, and that’s the point. When I was training people back in the day I would have each person in the class call Medicare and ask the same question. Never failed, we always got different answers. Government could screw up a wet dream and you want them in charge of your healthcare?

You want a British style system? You might want to go over there and actually talk to people. I have and they are amazed that we can get our healthcare immediately. One lady we spoke to happened to be a physical therapist. She told us it takes 6 months for a person to get an appointment with her. That’s sounds great doesn’t it. She also told us her healthcare was free but she also pays well over 50% in taxes, no thanks. I did find that they sell codeine over the counter. I threw my back out the second day we were there and was able to make it around only because I was eating codeine like candy. Come to find out that is how they treat people until they are able to see a doctor. Just eat pain pills until you can see a doctor doesn’t sound like a good idea to me.

Sometimes I feel some guilt and sadness for these two. I thank the Great Father for the gifts he has given me. I suspect you do to.
I some times wonder why our colleagues waste their time trying to get through. As you well know, getting through to this kind is completely beyond our reach.
