This topic is mainly meant for the Democrats on this board. @Pokeabear @Syskatine @davidallen @07pilt and any other Democrat on this board...

What is your opinion/thoughts on the possibility of Hillary Clinton entering the race for the nomination? Do you think she will and would you support her for the nomination if she did?

She needs stay home. She's done enough damage for one career. She brought her own defeat on herself. She has zero political instincts and rarely acts out of pure conviction. She sas for the Iraq war (inexcusable and rightfully caused her to lose the '08 nomination), against gay marriage, and can't relate to red states. She's also not mean enough.

I don't think her ego can resist running or at least hinting at it so that people will keep talking about her.
I'll never support anyone who voted for the war in Iraq.

She needs to stay home. The money people need to get behind one of the nonBiden moderates and get this thing on track.

The Dems are not well led (understatement of the century). I don't have a lot of faith that will meaningfully change in the next several years.

Good to see we are all in agreement on this.

While I respect Clinton and what she has accomplished, I agree that she doesn't needs to enter the race. I'm worried though that she is giving it serious consideration, and if she does enter the race, she very well may once again win the nomination. However, the responses I've seen so far on this thread are encouraging.

I think this is eventually what they are going to do, but I agree with 07pilt that it isn't the best plan. The Democrats need to nominate a strong progressive. We don't need to repeat the same playbook from 2016.

What do you think of Bloomberg's chances David?

Lol

I think that relationship is more Putin decides who Biff can and can't clear.

Among the Democrats who are left, who do you think Putin fears the most and who do you think Putin would welcome with open arms (if any)?

To paraphrase the dragon show, she would burn down civilization if it meant she got to be queen of the ashes

I'm a registered Democrat

I hope she runs just so she can finish off the Libs

Honest question:

1. Do you think that the hard left has a significant impact on the party
2. If so, how do you bring them in line

It meant enough to build a thread around it, apparently

Nah, I was addressing those who actually identify more with what the Democratic Party stands for and probably who want the Democratic nominee to be elected in 2020. At least based upon reading their posts so far on this board.

Which is why impeachment is happening.

He must have written him in on the 2016 ballot? Or is this a NEW standard that didn't apply in the last presidential election?
As much as I disagree with Pilt on almost any political policy I do believe he is one of the few leftists on this board who is philosophically consistent. I believe him if he says he would not vote for someone who endorsed the war (that’s one thing about which I totally agree with him!).

A bunch of very good points made by those who support economic stagnation, rationed health care and higher crime rates. I'm mildly surprised.

Bernie's economic and health care plan is in full view in Venezuela. Obama showed us a mild version of the Pocohontas economic and health care plan. Lucky for all of us, the higher crime rate backers are polling low.

I've only read this a million times. Denmark population is 5.7 million. Sweden 10 million. Venezuela sits on the biggest known oil reserves in the world with 32 million people. Bernie believes he's the one anointed to make socialism work with 330 million. History says no.

Um, the whole population talking point you are repeating was actually addressed in one of the articles I linked to. If you had bothered to read it, you would have realized this.

I get Fox News yells Venezuela at you all the time. But that doesn't mean you have to accept their propaganda.

Lets put it in simple terms so even a socialist understands. Socialism will never work when over half of the country contributes nothing.
I know you think you are smarter than everyone else but there is not one example of socialism working anywhere in history. I guess you think you are smarter than everyone in history as well.

She wouldn't take any **** either.

Actually, besides Gabbard, I think all the Democrats running would stand up to Putin.

Obama started out conciliatory and that disintegrated, Putin has pretty much burned through any goodwill he had. Look at Tulsi's candidacy -- the Putin and Assad issues kneecapped her from the inception and she can't get around it. Hell it's why she can't break 2%.

Tulsi can't break 2% because the MSM doesn't want her. Face it you liberals are easily manipulated by the MSM.
