This whole thing stinks to high heaven. No way this wasn’t done to keep the vote from happening. I, as a woman, am disgusted by the tactics. Also, being a woman, if I was attacked no matter when it was, 5 years ago or 36 years ago, you bet your a$$ I would remember every detail of it, even if I did get away. The fact that she is telling a different story than she told her therapist and now named Kavanaugh is nothing more than a liberal professor trying to help the Trump resistance.
Now if it ever comes out that she is telling the truth I will come back and concede I was wrong, but right now I’m calling a spade a spade.

during her and her husbands' therapy session her husband said she said she was "scared one day he would be elected to the supreme court". This was back in 2012. Man, she was something...she should have gone straight to vegas and bet the house on any future events coming up. She could make millions.

Her parents having a foreclosure case that was ruled on by Kavanuagh’s mother certainly adds another layer.
Politically this is a strong move by the Dems. But dirty as hell and now this type of crap will happen more often. Feinstein should be censored.

If we accept your assumption that this is all a grand political conspiracy by the Dems (which I'm not prepared to do), still, one could easily point to the Republicans treatment of Garland as the start of all this.
Garland was very qualified for the Supreme Court and his nomination was stopped simply because of politics.
Garland wasn't even given a chance at a hearing by Republicans playing hardball. And now Republicans are complaining about Dems "maybe" playing hardball with Kavanaugh? C'Mon Man!

Neither Kavanaugh nor Ford have addressed this accusation before the committee yet. Therefore, the wise thing would be to reserve judgment till after both testify about it.
