True, we all do. Nobody that voted for Trump voted for a sunday school teacher though. Christians who voted for him feel completely vindicated in doing so because he is appointing Consitutionalist judges - which means in an era when a massacre of Christians is cleansed of the word "Christian" in favor of "Easter worshipers" Trump is making choices that protect freedom of religion and is declaring 3rd trimester abortions to be the evil abomination they are. No Christian who voted for Trump is ever going to regret it because someone finds out he fudged his taxes or banged a pornstar or 20. It is irrelevant to the job he was hired to do.
He's a lifelong playboy who made his fortune in the New York real estate market. NOBODY voted for him thinking they were getting Mr Clean. They wanted an outsider who would shake things up and break the back of the establishment and the leftist lurch by the democrats.
Well, that's just confirmation bias and cognitive dissonance at work. I see it in my own family - Christians who because of team loyalty continue to support a party that left the free speech center a long time ago because (D). He's "worthy" just as Saul on the road to Damascus was. God does not call the qualified, he qualifies the called. Bottom line, he's fulfilling campaign promises, delivering full employment and is appointing judges who respect the Constitutional rule of law. The same Constitution that for 250 years has protected Christians - something rapidly disappearing in the rest of the world. No offense, but democrat Cristians who hate Trump are voting against their own self interests - just as jews who hate Trump are. It's bizarre, and short sighted.
I hate democrat politicians. I also hate republicans. To me - Trump is a third party candidate who has broken the establishment republicans and the leftist agenda with one hand tied behind his back. That's pretty impressive.

I never watch Fox News so therefore the propaganda and outright falsehoods never get to my ears. I also don’t watch MSNBC for the same reason!
I look at the three national networks, Reuters, BBC, and CNN to compare coverage. You would be surprised how consensus can be understood discerning what the truth likely is when sampling all of their coverage including the foreign perspective from those networks. We all should avoid partisan news channels designed to energize a particular base and slant perspective and coverage to get that done.
I comment just as much to counter the arrogance I find that Republicans spew relative to I’m right and you’re wrong about EVERYTHING. It is especially strong in Oklahoma and flat ignores reality. There has only been one infallible human in word and deed and he was Jesus Christ! And if there ever was an example of the ultimate Liberal it was Jesus Christ! He cared little about money, told us to love one another, treat people as you wish to be treated, and do not judge lest you be judged. Our mutual political sparring and disagreements aren’t following his teachings that’s for sure!
Neither party or their supporters understand that NO ONE PARTY conservative or liberal knows everything. That screams that the compromise and checks and balances our forefathers put in place SHOULD be in place today and demanded by all of us.
We’re much better when all perspectives are considered and compromise is produced because all citizens have to live under the laws produced. We’ve become so partisan that almost 50% of the citizens aren’t being represented at any given time! That is untenable and is a threat to our nation! That’s what hyper-partisan politics has wrought!
More Open minds willing to listen to different perspectives can lead to compromise and more civility and make you realize that there is more agreement than the divisive one party media companies portray. They’ve found a way to make loads of money giving their one party view slanted to one constituency but they’ve done a disservice to our country as a whole.
The biggest misnomer is the labeling of all party members whether Republican or Democrat as all believing the same things. Not true! All liberals aren’t pro-choice as all Republicans aren’t pro-life. All aren’t anti-gun liberals or pro-gun conservatives. Neither are pro-tax but their are some in each party that understand you have to pay for services you need and want!
You think Trump is some sort of savior and I believe him to be a deeply flawed narcissist wannabe dictator that is heaping praise on despots like Putin, received help from him interfering in US elections, and we’re now waiting to see at what cost?
Different perspectives looking at the same individual. It just means our free speech and thought can occur here and why this is such a great country! How do I know? My life and I suspect yours too doesn’t change very much no matter which party is controlling government or messing it up as most agree!
