I think Clinton was guilty. The claims were made around the time of the occurrence. I don't know if Biden or Trump did it. But I'm against the raising of charges years after the fact. There is zero opportunity for evidence gathering. There is zero opportunity for the defendent to defend themselves. And in all these cases, there is zero evidence that the crime actually occurred. I'm a believer in innocent until proven guilty and thus I want to see the evidence of the crime.
As for your rockstar analogy I agree and that's how I took his comment. The women around him are those that are happily throwing their 'strange' around and that yes, he could just grab them by the 'strange'. You have to be looking for a perverted interpretation, or simply something to be offended about, to think that his statement was intended to imply that while in the vegetable aisle of the grocery store, he walks up and fingers the lady checking out the tomatoes.
A very reasonable response. We’ll never know about the guilt of Biden or Trump. But for many on this board the attitude is Biden did it but Trump did not. As for Trump grabbing unsuspecting women by the “strange,” as you put it, I don’t know about a vegetable aisle, but he was pretty clear he did it without permission. And that leads me to believe he may very well be guilty. I think your belief that a woman does not have a right to accuse a man of sexual abuse if she waits too long is predicated mostly because it happened to Trump, a man in whom you have placed much trust. Who’s the movie producer, I can’t remember his name, that was a serial sexual abuser until some women finally had the courage to rat him out? The guy that was the catalyst for the Me Too movement. Wasn’t he guilty for years and only stopped because he was sent to prison? By Trump’s own admission he, too, was a serial abuser. At some point in his life he must have gotten control of his urges, so good for him. But that doesn’t absolve him from visiting physical and emotional trauma on women he barely knew, and I think it is a good thing that he finally had to pay for what he did.

Completely wrong. I have the same opinion of the Biden claims. I even have the same opinion on Weinstein. If you sit on your complaint for years, then you better have real physical evidence that it occurred or a damn good reason to not have raised it earlier. Video cameras existed in the 90s. If EJC had raised her claim then, we could easily get video from Saks (or whichever supposed store) that Trump was there. Maybe even video he followed her uninvited into the dressing room. But 20 years later, that video no longer exists. As someone who has had sex in a dressing room before, I'd be outraged if that individual came out today and said that it was rape and not consensual. And I'd have zero capability to defend myself from her accusation.
Weinstein is different from Trump. Weinstein is closer to the Clinton situation, in that he had the power to control the livelihoods of those he supposedly raped. If you spoke out against Weinstein, he could have you blackballed in the industry. Trump didn't have that power. EJC and Trump were both wealthy private citizens with no business or other relations. EJC could have accused Trump on day 1 and there would have been zero impact to herself.
Its weird that you can so easily separate Hamas from Palestinians, yet can't separate "groupies" from "all women". Trump slept with groupies and porn stars. He dated and married runway models. You talk like he walked around grabbing random women on the street.
