Really, that was your take away, that Higgs likes it when a politician lies as long as it's sugar coated? Higgs, like myself, is a hard core anarchist who, like me, hates them all. This particular diatribe is aimed at Trump, deservedly so, but I assure you he has lobbed similar bombs at Obama, Bush, Clinton, all of them.
Hard to explain in a chat room sound bite. Read Albert J. Nock’s short book, “Our Enemy, the State,” in which he explains the difference between government which springs forth spontaneously from a society and a state, which is an authoritarian imposition on society.

You know the first real authoritarian imposition on society was not enforcing the fugitive slave laws.
I just find it odd that one would be upset about lies after he states all politicians are liars. Did he expect something different? I actually appreciate the way Trump lies. You know he's full of crap when he does it and there is less likely a chance some one is going to action on it. It gives other points of view a chance to speak. What ends up happening is Trump looks like a flip flopper in the process but it's more open. As long as Trump doesn't care about the image of it, it works in a way we are not used to. While I don't like lies to begin with I don't think I would myself draw a line and say I don't like Trump because of how he lies. I'm trying to focus on the final products and in that I don't have a lot of things I can complain about when it comes to Trump. I'm certainly entertained if nothing else.
I have not read everything the man has published, but I have read quite a bit of it, and I don’t remember one anti Semitic thing. Read the book.

I just read his Wikipedia page to get the info. I’m not one of these people that discounts everything somebody says based on if some of their views are a extreme. I was just trying to get pilt to Post.
I’m not meaning to sound bossy. Let me put it this way: I IMPLORE you to read the book! I would be curious if it impacts your thinking to any degree that it impacted mine when I first read it 50-55 years ago,
