2025 NCAA Tournament

Kudos to Teague for his comeback but sorry, it should never have been 6-6 against the #25 wrestler. Hope he comes back strong next year.
Disagree 100%. Seeds mean nothing at this point in the tournament. Travis is a true warrior to start in pigtails and make it this far and to finish that match on one leg. I have the utmost respect for him.

per a reddit post:

He tweaked his knee in practice this past week. Although it looks a little worse than a tweak. He’s taking top in matches, which is very abnormal for him. He is already wrestling down one ACL, he might have torn the other one.
Which reaffirms my strong belief that wrestlers are the toughest athletes of any sport.

Semis for the cowboys

Spratley v (3) Vantresca VT
Hamiti v (2) Haines PSU
Plott v (1) Starocci PSU
Wyatt v (3) Kerkvliet PSU

Large contingent of PSU fans here obviously but every one else in the arena will be rooting for the pokes in those matches. Hope we can step up to the challenge.

Bloodround
Jamison v (4) Kodenhart* (Navy)
Fish v (23) Saldate (Michigan)
Amine v (11) Scoles (Illinois)

What are our matchups for tonight on the backside?
Bout 502125 Semifinal: Eddie Ventresca (Virginia Tech) vs Troy Spratley (Oklahoma State)
Bout 514174 Semifinal: Dean Hamiti (Oklahoma State) vs Levi Haines (Penn State)
Bout 515184 Semifinal: Carter Starocci (Penn State) vs Dustin Plott (Oklahoma State)
Bout 520285 Semifinal: Greg Kerkvliet (Penn State) vs Wyatt Hendrickson (Oklahoma State)
Bout 529141 Cons. Round 4: Josh Koderhandt (Navy) vs Tagen Jamison (Oklahoma State)
Bout 537157 Cons. Round 4: Caleb Fish (Oklahoma State) vs Chase Saldate (Michigan)
Bout 542165 Cons. Round 4: Cameron Amine (Oklahoma State) vs Braeden Scoles (Illinois)

Nebraska also has 4 in the semis, but has 5 in the consis

If that's true, Wyatt should probably take top if he doesn't get a TD in the first period

I get being frustrated by Jamison and Surber but getting mad we aren’t getting upsets seems illogical. Did you really think Teague was going to take out Henson? The only other chance at upsets was 157 and Fish did that.

It is easy to mad about lack of upsets if you ignore the upsets.

Now I’m not super optimistic but this morning is our first real chance to face higher seeds.

Hey there PSU85!!!

Can you post an updated version of that table/spreadsheet with team standings, # in champ, # in cons, projections?

That is a great tool!

Thanks!
