I often go to the tournament of champions when I know we have signed someone that's playing in the tournament (Keiton Page, Obi Muonelo, Nick Sidorakis, and others) or looking hard at someone.
This year its at the BOK. Most often it has been at the Mabee Center.
(it started at Memorial HS back in the day and was called the "Memorial Tournament of Champions" for many years.

I noticed that Vernon Grant lll, Vernon Grants son plays football in Duncanville and graduates in 2023.

His 247 profile says he received an offer from Toledo and was wondering if OSU is recruiting.

If I remember correctly, OSU said he always had a spot here if he wanted.

I never meet his dad but his dad was one of my favorite players to play at OSU.

I just loved his enthusiasm and very saddened when he passed.

I am sure it could be difficult for him to attend here but I would love to see it and think it would be a great story.

When this first happened, leftists were quick to try and blame the newly elected Republican Governor, even though he doesn't take office till mid-January. Now you have the Democrat Governor blaming the drivers for the roads being untreated, unplowed and people stuck on the road for 24 hours or more? WTF.
I don't blame the governor for the snowstorm of even the roads being bad, but he could have done something to get help out to those that were stranded. Now he wants to deflect the responsibility to those that were stranded. Tells you all you need to know about Democrats and the leadership they believe in.

I just watched a disgustingly, horribly, terrifyingly good movie on Netflix called Don’t Look Up. It would be considered a comedy, I suppose, if it weren’t so impossibly believable.

I really think this is the only hire that could keep our momentum going on defense. Gary Patterson is an elite defensive coordinator, but we need to move quickly and lock him up on staff. Additionally, he could be taught our defense so no terminology would have to change and he could keep our defense and just call the plays.

It is so hard to get people, particularly our friends on the left, but not exclusively them, to understand this unyielding truth.

i'm wondering if Oklahoma still does this where the kids get to go to vo-tech half a day whether in the morning or afternoon so they come out of high school having a trade? In Texas it doesn't seem like we have this which is a shame. Plumbers, AC people, electrical, painters, cosmetologist, make real good money and so many kids have no interest in staying 7 hours of school each day.

At best in Texas it seems like we release the kids at 1 o'clock to go to a job, subpar.

With the costs of college and dumbing down there- the Vo Tech seems like a GREAT option

Am I the only one that's floored at what this thing will do, and how they're making it work? Park it a million miles in outer space and it'll see an insane depth into the unknown universe. Just SMH at the capabilities of this thing.
