Was it just Biden who imploded or did the whole Democrat party implode, too?

By Andrea Widburg

Depending on whether you are a conservative or a leftist, the debate last night was either fun or awful. I’ll have a few things to say about it but the more pivotal question is whether Biden’s disastrous performance harmed only him or if it harmed the entire Democrat party. It’s an important distinction because the former means Democrat machinations and a possible path to victory, while the latter means that the Democrats, finally, are a spent force.

I’ll start with a few comments about the debate. It’s now known around the world that Biden was barely sentient. From the thin whispery voice to the pressed speech to the dilated, staring eyes to the slack-jawed expression to the stumbling and stuttering to the endless flow of lies, it was the worst thing ever seen on an American—or any—debate stage. Having Jill gently guide him down the stairs after the debate ended just emphasized that Joe Biden is gone:

There is “no there there.” This Trump ad says it all:

Having watched Joe’s implosion, many people nicer than I am are expressing compassion for him because he’s clearly a sick, old man. As I said, I’m not that nice.

I feel that this public humiliation—equivalent to a schoolyard bully having his pants pulled down—is a fitting end to the career of a singularly nasty, corrupt bully who has managed to drag America into the gutter over the last three-and-a-half years. It’s as if the picture of Dorian Gray were finally exposed so that everyone can see the truth. A nuclear bomb dropped on the lie that Biden is a kind, honest, intelligent statesman, and that was glorious. In sum, it’s great that the public finally got to see who and what Biden is. I hope Biden is still aware enough to understand how badly he failed before the world.

But the more important question is whether the Democrat party failed, too. There are a lot of people saying that this whole debate was a set-up by party solons to push Biden out of the running because they knew all along that he’s broken. Why do you think they’ve been fighting so hard to hide the Hur interview tape?

Even if it wasn’t a set-up to get rid of him but was, instead, just an effort to have him attend a debate before his decline went even further, they still knew that Biden’s brain was mush. How could anyone be around him and not know?

And yet, they lied. The Democrats’ administration officials lied, their political leaders lied, and their media lied, telling us over and over again that Biden is fine.

Value this 2-way bet for me in vegas

Goons and us both o/u 7.5 wins:

Short the goons for 300
Long the Cowboys for 100

UTN has 4 HS TEAMS BUT

6 games against ranked teams, 5 of which top 10, plus @auburn and S Carolina @home. I don’t see them going .500 against ranked opponents and @Auburn a tossup

If not for Utah and KSU in September, I’d be more bullish on us. We split those 2 and I like 9 wins

U17 Pan-American Championships

Got two Oklahoma kids and both from Edmond North, Joseph Jeter MFS/GR and Bella Williams WFS competing over the next few days in Santo Domingo D.R.

They're wrestling GR today, so far Jeter has 34 second 8-0 tech and a 31 second pin. He's in the finals which should happen in the next hour or two...

Williams wrestles tomorrow, and Jeter will compete in FS on Saturday.

Summer time in The Corral - Music Growing Up

So, from the time you were in middle school thru high school, what Record, 8 Track, or Cassette tape would you have listening to? You younger fellas probably CD's or digital files. I graduated HS in 1979. I started working at service station when I was 13 and was fortunate to always have some cash, had a great collection of music and attended every single concert I could that rolled thru OKC. It was the golden era of HiFi, with McIntosh, Marantz, Pioneer, Technics, Yamaha, Sansui, Kenwood, and other brands fighting it out in the 60's and 70's for HiFi supremacy. There was a time period, a great HiFi system was the best entertainment system you could own. No video games, no big screen TV's, no 120 channels to watch. You wanted your music to be detailed, loud, clear, and to have some bass. If you were in to music, and who was not smoking all that pot and snorting all that coke back then? :) You debated the best groups and the best equipment. Chevy or Ford? Marantz or Pioneer? Best turntable? Thorens or Technics? Best speaker? HiFi magazine subscriptions were in. And some great groups to turn up the volume with. I did not expand my tastes to include country music until I went to OSU.

In no particular order:

Alice Cooper
Deep Purple
Led Zeppelin
Uriah Heep
Yes
Lynrd Skynrd
Aerosmith
Bad Company
Elton John
REO Speedwagon
Nazareth
Heart
Eagles
Pink Floyd
Black Sabbath
Fleetwood Mac
ZZ Top
The Rolling Stones
Van Halen
The Who
Boston
KISS
ELO
Blue Oyster Cult
Cheap Trick
The Police
Bob Seger
Jethro Tull
Rush
Tom Petty
Supertramp - Can still remember to this day this was the cassette playing in my car as I drove to Stillwater with all of my things to move in and start school my frosh year.
Grand Funk Railroad
38 Special
The Police
CCR
Crosby, Stills, Nash & Young
Doobie Brothers
Chicago
Montrose (their album Montrose really good)
Mood Blues

I am sure I missed a few. What was the music of your youth?

The Opening Sentence Will Trigger You

Into being terrified of reading the whole thing, but you ought to read it all. I don’t know if it can be explained better than this. BTW if you have the stones read Part 1 as well.

First day of official contact with the 2026 class

So what's the scoop in Cowboy land? The obvious kids are Bassett and Jax, but who else is on your radar? Any idea if DT was active last night and today with visits or calls? Cael has always been active (midnight visits etc), so I'd expect Taylor to splash like his mentor. Kids and parents like that kind of love.

Highest ranked Oklahoma wrestler is Joseph Jeter at Edmond North, who is projected at 165 by Willie. Ranked #22 on the big board. Who else is interesting beyond the top two? Willie has Bo #1 and Jax #2.

Interesting Poll

1 in 5 of those polled admitted to committing voter fraud in the 2020 election?

Shouldn't matter your political leanings we should all want secure elections we can trust. While Democrat voters will scoff at the idea it will only take a Republican winning an election for them to change their tune.

What Is Interesting - NIL/NBA Draft and Player Posturing

Tonight is absolutely a headscatcher. For all this hoopla about huge NIL deals and players hitting the transfer portal for the sake of a potential NBA contract. Only 58 players are getting drafted. In the first round as of 11:00 PM eastern time, 5 of the first 25 players taken are from outside the US. One is coming from the development league. 19 players have gotten drafted from college programs. Nineteen!

Google on the number of total college basketball players Juco to D1 is 27,429 men's basketball athletes across nearly 1,740 programs. Quick math, only 2/10ths of 1 percent of the players make it to the NBA draft. Basically kids need to stop listening to people who fill their heads with crap. Get a free college degree at the best university possible, make a little money, and maybe drive a fancy car for a while, FANS need to get realistic about all the BS as well.

By the way, I hope a kid playing high school basketball meets his dream whatever that is but also be realistic about what is really going to happen.

Democrat “women” sure are some nasty old c.unts

Yes, 2pesos, they really are c.unts, you little twat.

Once we know the truth about Biden…

Can you imagine a movie about this Presidency?

Who is really running the country? How hard they have to work to manage him?

All of his handlers last night had to be praying last night when he walked on stage he would find and stop at the podium. You know it is true.

They hold their breath every time he moves or says anything.

You think last night was embarrassing, just imagine how bad it is off camera. Joe is the biggest freak show of the all Libs.

Sotomayer retirement clock started yet?

The one angle I haven't seen come up yet today is about Sotomayer. There was a mild push earlier in the spring about getting her to retire while Biden could still appoint her replacement. You have to think that after last night's performance by Biden that the odds of a Trump presidency increased (potentially significantly), and thus I fully expect to see her retirement announcement coming soon.
