Attention, casual boxing fans and a lot of just sports fans in general who are going to be talked into watching the big fight this weekend: Be prepared to be bored out of your mind. It is not going to be a fun fight or even a halfway interesting fight. Their may be some interesting moments in the first couple of rounds as Pacquiao spends a lot of energy.

He may even win the first few rounds. But then it will go back to a predictable pattern once Mayweather learns the timing. Then it will be a frustrating series of rounds as Mayweather uses impeccable defense, his shoulder role and counter, high guard and drop jab, pull counter, check hook and numerous other tricks and methods developed by black fighters many years ago, specifically in the 30's to 50's when White racism prevented title shots for blacks and they never were given good purses. Thus, blacks had to fight much more often, and for bad pay. You couldn't afford to be knocked out, cut or injured when you fought, or else you would lose the next weeks payday. You may get robbed blind by a hometown whiteboy decision, but if he didn't cut or hurt you could go get another payday next week.

Thus the amazing defensive prowess of many black fighters of that era. Floyd Mayweather is one of the last fighters on Earth that uses this specific black defensive style, (Hopkins is another) learned long ago and passed down. Most of the trainers who know it are gone.
