Would a lawyer lie about this?

You're the titan that sees making 5x your initial investment is child's play.

On the back of your deals not manipulating markets. No prob right.

That's so f'n stupid.

Is this a response to me?

If it is, you are VERY, VERY, VERY confused.

You keep saying I'm making arguments and statements I quite clearly didn't.

So they sound the same, even though the underlying circumstances are different.

Wow....
Wow... You usually are better than this.

If a baby is crying because it is hungry or because it crapped itself, it is still annoying. Eventually either someone takes care of the need or it learns that crying isn't going to help and grows up a bit. Either way, you just want the crying to stop.

Same here.

So you're saying neither one is particularly justified and they just need to grow up.

If a baby is crying because it is hungry or because somebody punched it in the face, is the same level of annoyance and need to just "grow up" present in those two circumstances?

We had quite a few brothers hanging around here. Our President was a birther. I don't recall this attitude of annoying and need to grow up being advanced by you at that time.

Just saying.

Nope, you haven't been on the Trump is a financial doofus train.

Just saying that there wasn't something to compare it to at the time. And in my analogy, nobody punched a baby in the face. That's the equivalent of yelling Nazi.

Trump's tax returns are a sideshow. Anyone who thinks it is material to anything is probably pushing an agenda. Just like the birthers were.

I understand in your analogy, nobody punched the baby in the face. In your analogy, the things (underlying circumstances causing the baby) to cry are generally equal and comparable (lying about tax return release vs birthers demands = hungry vs poop in the diaper).

IMO, that's why your analogy breaks down. Telling the world you'll release you tax returns and then backing out after you are elected probably isn't punching the baby in the face, but it's something more than the other circumstance....quite a bit more.

That's because your politics make you really stupid sometimes.

I have reems of data to back it up.

I do agree that he is worth over 1 Billion. Looking at various articles, he is estimated to have lost somewhere between 500 and 900 K last year. That is a significant amount for someone who is worth less than 10 Billion.

He has claimed that he is worth 10 Billion on multiple occasions. If I am blathering about being worth 10 Billion and the truth is that I am worth 3 Billion, and I can't handle the criticism that goes along with the truth coming out....I probably don't want my tax returns released. That is all I have been saying in this thread.

There could be other reasons he doesn't want them released, but I believe that this is part of it.

Not sure his tax returns would tell how much he's worth. I know mine don't tell my net worth. We'd see his income, just as our tax returns would show, which could be the whole story or nothing meaningful at all in his case. I think he should release them as a matter of presidential tradition and the fact that he said he would if he won, but I don't think they contain a smoking gun against him. Maybe he plans on releasing them in the future? Who knows.

I do know he ran a brilliant campaign, even if it was only picking the right people to run the brilliant campaign. Taking down all of the Republican challengers and H Clinton was a pretty remarkable feat. I'm hoping that creativity begins to show up in his presidency at some point soon. So far I haven't been blown away, but haven't been disappointed. I simply voted for him for 2nd Amendment protection, revamp of our porous southern border, some tax reform, and well, not Hillary.

Ha ha, misspelled word.

Maybe the third joke will be funny. Want some help?

Not as much your spelling as 1. the idea of you having reams of data. Did you put it in binders?

2. Obama has ran circles around you in life by any objective metric but you still criticize him. Let someone criticize fatass though and HOW DARE YOU?!?! Your "hipocracy" is pretty bad, imo.

Im surprised that that level of sarcasm didn't put me on the Secrect Services radar.

I think that's when I first recognized the fact that libs think hypocrisy is a virtue.

I was wondering where you had gone. Nice post. Good points made.

This is pretty much where I am except for that last question.

Unless he's lying to us AGAIN about releasing his tax returns, we pretty much know he isn't planning on releasing them in the future....at least while he is still President. He's told us repeatedly that he won't released them while he is under audit...and the President is audited every year.

I'm not the lawyering type. It would be great if he released them, as he said he would. I won't lose sleep if he doesn't. I haven't looked at a president's tax return ever. Unless it's a qualification, I really don't care if he/she/it does release them. It tells me nothing about how they'll "rule."
