WikiLeaks - Emails show Hillary Clinton taking step-by-step instruction from Soros

He promised documents that "could bring down a bank or two" and they were never released.
Since I have zero faith that most governments will do the right thing when it comes to politicians or large corporations this doesn't surprise me.

Can't bite the hands that feed them.

Why don't you regale us with all the things he's said he has that he didn't.
Here is a summary of my beef with Assange:
  • He has a clear political agenda - manipulation of when things gets released is bad faith IMO. Assange is not so much focused on shining light in dark places as he is throwing "grit into the machine".
  • He actively courts the title of founder of wikileaks - contrary to the actual history where he started as an outside advisor, then became spokesman. He has consolidated control of wikileaks but the founder tag is not one he deserves.
  • Assange saying I did not have "lesser-degree rape" with those women. Playing the victim card, Assange has perpetuated this case rather than close it on several occasions.
  • He admits to providing false information to the US about Snowden being on the plane of Bolivian president Evo Morales when it was forced to land in Vienna in July 2013. All in the name of promoting his content and f#ing with the US.
  • He denies having ever requested/filed for asylum in France - butt hurt that they denied his request despite published evidence of his request. Childish.
  • Demanding $1 mln to be interviewed for a documentary, I mean I get it, he has things to do. But to see him as some knight fighting for a righteous cause is naive. By all accounts he has a huge ego, and seeks fame more than anything else. What did Mark Cuban describe that as... oh yeah, a Jack Off.
As most of you, I love to see government programs that cross the line exposed. At the same time, I understand that for governments to work there has to be room for private communication. Without the room to maneuver outside the public eye, no progress can or will be made. Even when progress can be made, mistakes will occur. The Apache pilots who killed the Reuters photographer, laughing as they did it, were doing a dirty job that we sent them to do. There has to be a way for to tell that story without putting them as individuals in the middle of it.

If your theory of truth is one that no matter what telling the truth is justified then a) you've not been married long enough, b) you have a naive view of the flawed world we live in. The truth is not always the "good" that people want it to be.

While I think Wikileaks has a role, Julian Assange is no Daniel Ellsberg.

The emails are pointless to bring up anymore. She got off because Comey is bought and paid for.

Understand. But if the whistleblower is telling the truth and it was US Intelligence that hacked and turned over to wikileaks then it blows the entire narrative the media is trying to paint in saying that Russia is just afraid of Hillary because she'll be a strong leader.

Please please please release them AFTER Labor Day if there is anything, heck even mid-October although I think that most people will have already planted their flag by then and it won't matter.

Nobody cares because it's yet another hysterical "scandal!!" accusation from republicans. They have no credibility any more.

Somebody must care because the best seller lists are loaded with anti-Hillary books and the anti-Hillary documentaries are getting a lot of viewers.

Here's one that's free and I bet you or davidallen can't refute one fact in it. The Clinton's used to use cash to gain power, now they use power to get filthy rich. They operate a criminal enterprise.

This is good stuff.

This is good stuff.
Assange does have a political agenda. It's not something he's hiding or denies. I'm still laughing about the DNC and the shit storm he created right before the convention. There's no telling what else he has, but I'm sure it will be entertaining watching the DemocRATS trying to plug holes in the boat.

Speaking of Democrat CRISIS, air conditioning is a bigger threat than ISIS!

The level of proof on this is going to have to be astronomically high and just veiled implications won't move the needle. It's going to have to be greater than the proof that OJ killed those two.

Emails leaked by WikiLeaks reveals that when Hillary Clinton was US secretary of state in 2011, billionaire George Soros instructed her on how to handle unrest in Albania, stressing it “needs urgent attention at senior levels of the US government.”
“Dear Hillary,” begins the emaildated January 24, 2011 from the founder of Open Society Foundations, Soros.

“A serious situation has arisen in Albania which needs urgent attention at senior levels of the US government. You may know that an opposition demonstration in Tirana on Friday resulted in the deaths of three people and the destruction of property,” Soros says, according to the leaked email.

Three men were shot dead as anti-government demonstrators clashed with police in the Albanian capital in late January of 2011. Supporters of the opposition Socialist Party refused to accept the results of a 2009 election, citing corruption and fraud, when then-Prime Minister Sali Berisha’s Democratic Party won by a thin margin. Berisha accused the opposition of attempting to provoke a Tunisia-style uprising, saying “the bastard children of Albania’s own Ben Alis conceived Tunisian scenarios.”

“There are serious concerns about further unrest connected to a counter-demonstration to be organized by the governing party... and a follow-up event by the opposition two days later to memorialize the victims,” Soros says.

“The prospect of tens of thousands of people entering the streets in an already inflamed political environment bodes ill for the return of public order and the country’s fragile democratic process,” he adds.

“I believe two things need to be done urgently,” he adds.

“1. Bring the full weight of the international community to bear on Prime Minister Berisha and opposition leader Edi Rama to forestall further public demonstrations and to tone down public pronouncements.

2. Appoint a senior European official as a mediator.”

Soros suggested three candidates: Carl Bildt, Martti Ahtisaari, and Miroslav Lajcak, saying all “have strong connections to the Balkans.”

“The US and the EU must work in complete harmony over this, but given Albania’s European aspirations the EU must take the lead,” he stressed, adding that his foundation in Tirana was “monitoring the situation closely and can provide independent analysis of the crisis.”

Several days after the email was sent to Clinton, the EU did send one of Soros’ suggested nominees, Miroslav Lajcak, to meet Albanian leaders in Tirana to try to mediate an end to the unrest, Reuters reported.

In March, WikiLeaks launched a searchable archive consisting of 30,322 emails from Hillary Clinton’s private email server that she used while serving as US secretary of state. The 50,547 pages of documents cover Clinton’s correspondence from June 30, 2010 to August 12, 2014, of which 7,570 were sent by Clinton herself.

Last month, the whistleblowing website published an archive of over 1,200 of Clinton’s private emails pertaining to the Iraq War. Ahead of the release, WikiLeaks founder Julian Assange said the “upcoming leaks in relation to Hillary Clinton” would be enough to indict her.

Soros made a name for himself as the “man who broke the Bank of England” by engaging in questionable Forex hedging and betting against the sterling pound – which made him more than $1 billion in one day in September of 1992. Some have speculated that Soros has benefited from insider trading information when making investments. In 2002, a Paris court found Soros guilty of using inside information to profit from a 1988 takeover deal for bank Societe Generale.

Is there something here to be outraged about? Not sure what the point is... Soros has access for a multitude of reasons, he sent unsolicited advice which on the face of it doesn't look to be anything outrageous. What is the scandal here?

No, I guess not if you are OK with wealthy foreign nationals buying this kind of influence, which evidently you are.

I'm definitely not.

Am I OK with it or do I know that it has happened since the dawn of the Republic?

This is absolutely nothing new. Look in every Presidential Library at their personal papers...

And you do realize Soros is a US Citizen right? He has as much right to lobby as you or me. Well me at least.

Every president has been bankrolled by a sketchy globalist with unlimited funds who's specific goals are to undermine and destabilize our national culture? Wow, I really did not know that.

Pretty much... at least there has always been a cadre of fools who would claim as much.

Do you have something specific about his recommendation that you find insidious, undermining, or otherwise destablizing to our national culture? If so that would be great to talk about. If not, then can you find something real to bleat about instead?

Bleat? As in, I'm a sheep?

That's pretty funny coming from a guy who sees no problem with George Soros.

I guess you will have to point where I said I have no problem with Soros.

You guys look like fools with these "allegations"... More of the same BS superificial "attacks". All this talk of howitizers when the anti-HRC crowd is only packing pea shooters.

Black Lives Matter protesters kill cops. Soros pays Black Lives Matter lots of money. Thugs on both ends and in the middle.
