Who knew?

You tricked me again Medic. Some how I went from the easily defensible position of "white privilege exists" to now I have to defending every damn word on a website.
I'm not asking you to defend it. I'm pointing out that I find the reversal on the importance of skin color very interesting. Websites like that (as I've seen thus far) are likely contributing to people not taking "white privilege" seriously. So far it reads that I need to forego all my own interests in favor of skin color.

At this point in time, I don't vote based on party and I'm not sure I'll go back to that. The Democrats have gone off the roadway on some topics and Republicans still hold positions I cannot support so I'm choosing on how much of their platform aligns with my beliefs.

You as an adult, need advice from an anonymous figure on an OSU sports related politics board on how to know whose opinions to value?
That's your takeaway? How about if it were worded "where do you draw the line?"

Not outrageous, but clearly confused on the topic
Maybe, maybe not. I guess that's where perspective comes in.

Bookmarking this and holding you to this standard from now on.
Fine by me.

I have already told that my middle of the road is simply to avoid contributing to the problem. (also I vote Democrat, since apparently that count
Roger that. I do the same but not because of my white privilege. I do it because it's being a good human 101.

Read a bit more of that website. I find this to be terrible advice, probably past the point of being negligent...

"Physically intervene in confrontations when a person of Color is being intimated, harassed, or the target of violence from a White person or police officer..

Feel comfortable putting your body on the line? Call organizers, Mosques, protestors, and other groups ask if you can be trained to handle their security and absorb threats from the police."
