The atrocities of WW2 once revealed, made everyone promise never again. And all agreed that had they known what was going on it may have resulted in even more resistance. If only we knew.

So, good chance that mankind is going to watch women and children, being brutally raped and killed. Babies killed. Possibly hundreds of thousands. Possibly millions. Millions displaced and suffering. Could have starvation. We will know, and we will see it with so much brutal clarity many will have to turn away.

Will mankind just sit and watch? Will emotional and moral anger at some point come in to play and the world says, enough and steps in?

Or do we just watch? And if we do, what will that say?

IF Putin is truly another Hitler? He will have to be physically stopped. That is the truth, sooner or later he will have to be physically stopped.

How bad will it have to get before mankind decides that no matter the cost, such evil has to be removed from earth?

Or are we ok to feed our neighbor to the alligators and put off death long enough before it is our turn?

We hope for a miracle. I pray for one, I do. One time I heard a priest saying that if some how you can’t believe in Jesus, that consider of all the creatures on earth, that the fact many so humans have a good conscience, that a good conscience is evidence of god in mankind.

How long will our collective conscience be able to hold out over fear? Over all the horrific atrocities to come?

When does our collective conscience says it is time to act? I pray for this war to not kill millions. But it might, and if Putin is Hitler, I hope we have the conscience to act. And I hope mankind determines at the same time when that moment comes, and ends this evil and suffering.

Collective conscientiousness is the amalgamation of individual conscientiousness. Individual consciences need to show their willingness to put their beliefs into action beyond sending others to fight in their name, or before sending even more weapons of war into a region incapable of protecting itself without putting their own bodies in harm’s way. You understand what I’m saying?

Sadly, we are no longer the nation of WWII, now we are a nation of self-entitled spoiled brats only interested in their own wellbeing.

Sure I do. I am asking what is the tipping point for your individual conscience?

4 times, between grade school and college I stepped in for the weak and beat the shit out of the bully and it was no guarantee. Individuals who where minding their own business, scared shitless and could not defend themselves and were going to take an azz beating.

In my professional life, I got 2 C level guys termed for creating a very hostile work environment. Risked getting fired, you don’t know how that will play out. I could of just left but that meant many others left to suffer. Someone had to say enough.

I have always hated bullies.

I am 61, and I have no problem fighting if I am drafted.

I can imagine a world not worth living in and the need to fight to live in a world worth living in.

The question I have is not a political question. It is moral one. Religion and morals have been dying all around us for decades. Morals dying all around us. Defund the police, let criminals prey on the weak. We have been numbed by decades of butchering babies in the womb.

If we don’t value all human life, where are we?

I don’t know at what point I will feel enough is enough, but it will be like knowing what porn is, I will know it when I see it.

If we have no value for all human life, and if we are so afraid of dying to save our planet basically, we are headed to a horrible existence not worth living.

Again, if you believe Putin is Hitler, Ukraine will become worse than actual hell, and if he does not stop in Ukraine and he has plans to take over say 3-5 more countries while killing millions, you ok with that Dan? Not saying you are, but I am asking what do you think? My position is I will know I have had enough when it happens and I see it. Will anyone else? I believe so. Peace at all costs with millions dead and millions of other living hell on earth? I hope not.

My position has always been overwhelming force to act as a deterrent to prevent war, but the guy across from you has to know you are not looking for a fight, and will avoid at all cost, but when you are forced to fight you are ending it.

Maybe for some it is NATO being attacked but that is a political response and does not answer the moral one.

How many millions of Ukraine citizens are we willing to watch die before we decide to act? How many millions? And are we ok losing most of them? Have we written off all of those humans as dead to protect the west and bleed out Russia over potentially 15 years to end it?

Are we by not acting becoming co-dependent enabler and if we believe we have the ability to stop it, at what point does mankind become complicit?

I have no perfect easy answers, I am not morally perfect, but no one is asking these questions. Those lives are evaluated on the basis of personal and geopolitical benefit right now as we watch at home, me no different right now. And it makes me very uncomfortable and makes me ask questions.

We are watching the adage about not learning from history and it’s repetition in real time technicolor.
With only a few mistakes, WW3
