UWW Cadet and University Nationals this weekend

Thanks Hawktalk-short interview with collica but he did confirm he would be going 149 next year Not a fan of Scott Casbar.

Not all are a fan of him, but I hadn't seen those interviews yet so figured you guys would like it.

Collica's wins are impressive, but to be fair Graff didn't allow a point. That's pretty impressive too
I agree until you take a look at who Collica wrestled as opposed to Graff. I do not have the bracket in front of me but I know that for first place Graff wrestled Darian Cruz who was probably the second best at that weight. Darian Cruz was a 7th place All-American his freshman year at Lehigh but redshirted last year and was 22-3 in open tournaments. Two of those losses came in the Southern Scuffle where he did not place and was 1-2. He lost to Dominic Parisi of Appalachian 8-4 and to Dom Forys. He was 28-9 as a freshman which was a good record but not in the category of Tyler Graff. Graff beat Tim Lambert of Nebraska in the quarters. Lambert was a NCAA qualifier
last year and finished 6th in the Big 10. He was 1-2 in the NCAA's. In the quarters Graff beat Luke Welsh of Purdue who has an overall record at Purdue of 11-13 and was 1-5 against rankied opponents at 125. Good competition for Graff but not outstanding. I think you could give outstanding wrestler to Collica, Coon, Ramos or Burak. All had outstanding tournaments. The 57 kg bracket looks to be one of the weakest brackets in the tournament.
