Looks like Coby Merrill, Dreshaun Ross and Mocco are signed up for U20 at 125 kg.
Ignacio Villasenor will be in U17 for 55kg

Do you happen to know what big, but younger names will be taking a shot at Seniors? I heard Lilledahl already.
That should give us a clearer idea of the relative levels of each of these guys.

Oof I just looked at the schedule... and it's iffy if I'll be available, but I might be able to put up a server for us fans to chit-chat about how great our prospects are looking.
Fix at 61kg. Hamiti at 79kg. Plott at 86kg. No surprises just sharing. Haven’t seen a lot of freestyle from Plott the last few years.
Ryder said on Bo Nickal's podcast that he's going 86kg at U20s and that is basically his walking around weight. He's really young. I think he turns 19 sometime this month so he will be eligible for U20s next year as well.
Hope Ryder is part of the team that turns the corner on penn state. My gut feel is in an effort to block osu on Welsh Cael made an error in judgment. Sounds like Ryder was one of the most locked guys in the locker room and has a ton of potential.

Thompson is signed in at 86 kg at seniors US Open. So is Dustin, Valencia and Jersey. Hamiti is at 79kg. Carter Young is at 65kg. Daton is at 61
Villasenor is at 55kg for U17's. I hope we see our star recruits and wrestlers jump in. I would really like to see Merrill at 92, Ryder at 86, Lockett at 74, Robideau at 70, Routledge at 74, and Facundo maybe at 79 to name a few.

It is good to see Landon and Cody are now in the U20 Nationals. Robideau and Duke are at 70kg it would be good to see if Landon can stick with Duke. Sergio Vega is at 65kg in the U20.

From recruits to guys on our current roster/rtc, I can't remember ever having this many guys go to the Open. Future is looking bright.
Looks like Dake is going 86. Can't wait to see him and Zahid go at it!
Maybe just taking the time to prepare for his first collegiate season and getting ready to earn his spot? Or maybe he's eyeing U23s?
I'm more surprised by the absence of guys like Fish and Amine
I saw a poll on IG asking people to predict the U20, 125kg, winner. Marasola from PSU, Deshaun Ross, and Michael Mocco were prominently mentioned in the comments.
So I did a Google search on Ross vs Mocco and found a freestyle match from two years ago where Ross absolutely destroyed him. Wasn't close. The difference in quickness was astounding. And you know young Mocco has had incredible training since he could walk. Scary to think if Ross has gotten better since then.

Sounds like people are sleeping on Coby Merrill. U20 125kg is tied with men's 61kg and 86kg for my most anticipated brackets
Oh yeah? Ross has been chasing down chickens and eating them alive...he has the edge.
