What's ironic is that, until the Trump assassination attempt and the clear evidence of moronic-ness at the top of the department, I would have believed that the SS lead wasn't a political position. But when the SS head literally states in front of Congress, "well the slope of the roof made that an unsafe position", I was demonstratably shown otherwise.
