I doubt I’ll be around 10 years from now, but if I was I’d bet you are wrong about that. I don’t know if it’s true but I heard that Trump is the only president in history that lost the presidency, Senate and House all within one term. In 2022 those politicians he endorsed got blasted. I’m sure you are a fine fellow, Matches, but your devotion to one man is over the top. Half the population utterly revile the man, and his personality is such that their opinion of him is not likely to change. Andrew Sullivan wrote a brilliant article (unfortunately it’s behind a paywall so I can’t link it) in which he laid out all the reasons Kamala Harris should not be considered with the single exception being the damage Trump will do to the country and the Republican Party (he predicts Trump’s personality alone will drive the country into the arms of the radical left), and as painful as it is for him to say he endorses Harris.
