Trump versus the left: global warming

If wells could be drilled and completed conventionally in enough numbers, fracking wouldn't be the mainstream way of drilling now. How long has it been since you've been in O&G? This isn't the 1980s.
Beginning to think you just like argue and do not know shit about the oil and gas business or it's history.

Really? Maybe you should tell us where the big conventional drilling plays are. Should be an easy task, no?

And maybe you can share how the drilling in the 1920s matters today. I can't wait.

From memory. Talk about change. It was the Conoco-Pennzoil joint venture and the start of the new Group 2 base stocks in Lake Charles, LA circa 1995. Removing all the "junk" from the nasty crude left the refined oil looking like ice water from Denny's. Conoco called their new oil Hydroclear and Pennzoil Purebase. Adding additive packages gave the motor oil color. Pennzoil darker with it's exclusive additive package with Z7.

Mobil around 1995 was first with a liter bottle but contained 946 mL of oil. Conoco was last to shift to the newer liter bottle circa 2002.

I used to hang around a lot of refineries. What an education!

I'm starting to think he hasn't actually worked in O&G. Hydraulic fracturing has been going on for more than 50 years. More than 90% of the wells drilled since the 1950s have used hydraulic fracturing. Maybe he's getting horizontal drilling confused with hydraulic fracturing?

Jr Ewing was talking about it in the 80’s for sure.

The first patent to bomb a well was right after the civil war.
