Trump is waning. He is what 0 fer 10 on endorsements so far. The Dems need him to hang on a bit longer to help with the midterms.

The Democrats are off the damn rails look no further than the the fact that Bernie Sanders is their budget chairman. The Republicans can’t seem to find anyone that can push forward Trumps relatively popular agenda that is more mature than a 6 year old. What a time to be alive.
I understand what you are saying, but for the good of our country, I hope Trump's influence continues to wane. I doubt it will though. I fully expect him to run again in '24 and his candidancy will be a direct threat to our democracy and country once again.
I hope I'm wrong and he doesn't run though. I worry though about the precedent he set in 2020 for future Republican candidates though.
