and the first gop name mentioned to replace mcconnell is john cornyn. i have voted for one, that's right, one democrat in my life. i voted for jamie garza against john cornyn 20+ years ago in the tejas senate race. cornyn is an empty suit, who goes along to get along. he will be a disaster as the gop leader of the u s senate.

don't look for cornyn to get hundreds of judge appointments rammed up the commucrats asses, mcconnell did that. mcconnell kept merrick garland OFF the supreme court and rammed amy coney barrett right up schumer and pelosi's asses.

Have to give McConnell credit for keeping that weaselly POS Merrick Garland off the SCOTUS and helping to get three reasonable Justices on the SCOTUS. Other than that he's just another swamp rat. Cornyn isn't a conservative or a fighter, need someone like Josh Hawley as the Senate Majority Leader.

JD Vance may be too much to ask for from a Senate Republican group that includes Mit Romney, but I'm with you he would be a great choice. Which is why I don't think it will be him.
