Trump on Twitter

You try to make everything tribalist. So why did Obama take executive privilege over the documents. Answer my earlier question in another thread, has a Dem EVER disappointed you? Or are all Dems perfect?

Have you ever voted for a republican candidate?

I have voted for both parties and many of those elected have disappointed me.

And you preach tribalism.

Plenty of Dem disappointments...I was especially troubled by Obama’s inability to balance the budget. No Dem is perfect.

I have voted Republican yes. I voted for James Halligan when he ran for state office.

“North Korea has been seeking a summit with an American president for more than twenty years,” Jeffrey Lewis, director of the East Asia Nonproliferation Program at Middlebury Institute of International studies tweeted Thursday night. “It has literally been a top foreign policy goal of Pyongyang since Kim Jong Il invited Bill Clinton.”

Don’t take my responses re: NK as saying that I’m against bilateral face-to-face meeting between NK and US. I responding more to the suggestion that Trump forced them to the table and to ask when...in fact...NK has wanted exactly this for decades.

So let me get this straight.

Wall: You knew he was lying when he made the promise and am okay with that.
Repeal: Not his fault
Infrastructure: if both sides want it, why hasn’t it happened? Until it does, it’s an unkept promise
Federal hiring freeze: you’re okay with it being lifted by April of his first year in office....because he promised a freeze and significant reductions through long term attrition
NK: Educate yourself.

http://www.sandiegouniontribune.com...obama-past-presidents-20170810-htmlstory.html

NK has asked for bilateral, face to face negotiations for decades....Bush, Clinton, Obama, Trump...so much so that one could make the argument that Trump is capitulating to the NK’s demands rather than the way you want to characterize it.

And yet he has amazingly kept on point with his campaign promises.

I don’t think your worship is a troll at all...it appears spot on to me.

Think what you want on me, can you name one good thing Trump has done? Or does the fact he is an egoistical prick just send you off to TDS land?

Just curious, were you genuinely happy with the direction of this country under Obama?

Do you think we would be better off in terms of policy under HRC?

You voted third party which partly answers those questions for you, that third party vote can do no harm or good today politically, and it really does not put much at risk for you on this board in terms of questioning what candidate you voted for that is in office. So you sit in judgment with real no skin in the game because you really do not tell us what you think and you know your boy is at home.

We had 2 real electable choices, a bunch of Americans voted for Trump knowing he is an egotistical prick, so a bunch of people clearly voted on policy. I no more own Trump as a person then the candidate that you voted for that never made office and can do no harm or good but tell yourself otherwise. No one cares what that candidate tweets.

You voted on policy and perhaps keeping a 3rd party alive (good for you!), once a candidate is elected no telling what they do.

Like it or not, it took some balls for some to vote in this last election on the candidates that had a chance to win, I will take the success when it happens and giving Trump a fair shake despite his shortcomings.

Let me know when the boy you voted for screws up, I am sure they are perfect. That makes you the cheerleader and worshipper of do nothing candidates that have no hope of winning? Too difficult for you to select between the only 2 electable candidates that you dislike? Well, a bunch of folks felt that way and cast the best vote they could, someone was going to be President. No, none of that makes you a cheerleader or worshipper, but keep labeling people while acting like somehow you are above the fray and sit in judgment because of how you voted.

Oh lord...your Beloved Leader gets questioned just the littlest of bits and you lose your freaking mind....go all triggered broflake.

The Trumpie version of TDS....Trump Worship Syndrome...TWS...you are ate up with it.

Tax cuts.
Regulation rescission.
Immigration enforcement (though he needs to drop the dumb wall fantasy).

I could give more, but there’s three things I am happy with. You asked for one. I overdelivered. I’d still give him about a C....C+. Which isn’t bad....pretty average.

Can you give three things, policywise....not personality wise....that Trump has done that you completely disagree with?

Voting for Trump in Oklahoma took no more balls than voting Libertarian...less, actually. Trump was always winning Oklahoma electoral votes. It’s weird that throughout this thread you associate supporting Trump with an act of manliness...it took balls....you’re no pussy and neither is he...etc. Real low T, cuck move.

Well, I guess we each view ourselves differently then how we view each other.

I thought he gave away legalization of all of the Dreamers too easily. I am not certain the tariffs are going to work. I wish he would get his cabinet settled and not have so much turnover.

So no....not three you are completely against....just three that you are kind of meh on....and one of them isn’t even a policy issue like I asked for.

My three I listed are policies I am completely in support of. Your challenge met...over delivered.

You? Not so much.

The tone out of NK has changed completely and they've quit firing rockets.

The fact that they've wanted to come to the table before has f'all to do with Trump and just highlights the ineptitude of previous administrations that led us to this point with a nuclear capable retard.

He isn't punting, he's addressing the situation. That's a nice change.

they've been meeting for years, but never with a sitting president of the US. There have been deals cut over the years with them, but nk always failed to respect those agreements. Now that they have the ability to hit the US and their nuclear options have greatly enhanced their abilities to strike first. Will this change the years of flip flopping by NK...doubtful. But, this will be the first meeting with a sitting US president so maybe something will come from it. You gotta get eyeball to eyeball with the opposition and it needs to be the biggest decision maker doing that...not some flunky appointee. They have become a huge threat and I know you hate to see it but Trump is just the guy to talk to them. A street brawler negotiating with a thug. Little Kim and Big Kim have been at the table many times....just nothing came from it. Maybe Trump changes some of that. Many past administrations have had the opportunity to meet and have sent messenger boys instead. Errand boys sent by grocery clerks!

They have been wanting to meet face to face for years with our Presidents and have been asking for the same. I am all for seeing what happens, but let’s not act like Trump drug them to the table for this face-to face.

That’s all I am saying.

Didn’t ask you to make anything up.

It just shows, you worship him a whole lot more than I supposedly dislike him him when you can’t.

you have to give him some credit for getting this set up...however, the results are another story. It may just be the same ole' song and dance for them. Results are key.

This coming from a JD? That is your logic?

So you are saying the litmus test is 3 items? Why not 5? Why not 2? Set by you, Mr judge and jury? Thanks for the early morning chuckle.

You have more Trump in you then you think.

I’m saying when you can’t come up with a single thing that you can definitively say he is all wrong on policy wise...when you hedge your bet that much....you definitely worship him more than you claim I despise him.

I’m not sure how much credit I have to give him for simply saying yes. I also know Obama was raked over the coals for saying he would consider engaging in face-to-face meetings by many of the same people lauding Trump for doing it now.

I’m in favor of meeting face to face, but like you say...results will be more important than the mere fact of the meeting.

I did, just in your opinion not emphatically enough. This is a silly pillow fight JD.

Tell you what, since voting for a 3rd party candidate was so hard for you, tell us who you would have voted for if you had voted for either HRC or Trump, evidently it was not that hard of a decision if voting 3rd party was so difficult. I will buy you 3 beers at your favorite OKC pub if you tell us who you would have voted for between HRC and Trump. After all, this was an easy decision for anyone in Oklahoma, right?

I NEVER said it was a hard decision for me to vote third party in Oklahoma. You’re just making shit up now. In fact, it was the easiest decision on the ballot for me. Hell, I worked on the petition drive to get the party recognized.

If a third party option had not been available. I would have voted for Trump and felt it was a wasted vote because he was always going to win Oklahoma.

So... I’ll be seeing you at Skinny Slim’s Edmond when exactly?

You said it took more courage I believe. I leave for Baton Rouge to visit a friend this Thursday and come back on Monday, if they have some TV's perhaps watching the OSU game tonight is an option? Otherwise, next week looks better?

I think many feared Obama would give away the house like we did in Iran. I agree results are important, but I would prefer for Trump to walk away then give away the house.

Nope. Never said it took more courage. I said that it meant more in the long run and wasn’t a wasted vote even knowing the candidate had no chance of winning. Even agrgued that it was the only vote in Oklahoma that had any chance of truly mattering because the EC votes were pretty much pre-ordained.

Next week is better for me. I tend to be a homebody during the week.

Regardless of what Trump says in his tweets, the fact it has so many people's panties wadded up is reason enough for him to continue.
