Trump/Mueller Interview

You understand that it’s ALWAYS best not to talk even if you are 100% squeaky clean, right?

Bill Clinton got hit for a lie about ****ing an intern during an investigation that had nothing to do with ****ing an intern.

Is Trump “100% squeaky clean” in your eyes?

Is Trump “100% squeaky clean” in your eyes?
Of course not. He’s a billionare businessman. He’s certainly got some skeletons.

Did he collude with Russia to steal the election? Of course not. Has he done some gray area things with respect to business? Of course he has. Illegal? Doubt it, otherwise it would be known by now. Things that might appear shady, 100% sure he has. The interview wouldn’t cover Russia at all since everyone knows there isn’t anything there. It would be a trap and he shouldn’t sit down for it.

Tells me Mueller doesn’t have a thing in the collision department. Going a different route.

Trump ought to tell Mueller he'll talk with him only after Mueller puts all his cards on the table first. If there is nothing about Russia placed out then tell Mueller to suck eggs.

If Trump is eventually impeached and/or resigns, who’s “deranged” then, huh? Maybe, just maybe, #facts win the day lol

Give me your personal odds on each of those suggested possibilities:

1. Impeachment (actual removal from office):
2. He resigns:

Where do you think all of the evidence will lead?
Impeachment, resignation and or Idictment after he is out of office. There will be much more to come for many other people not named Trump, some espionage some Fara, really a little of everything for many many people. The RNC and NRA are gonna have a bad few years. Trump will drain the swamp just not in the way he dreamed.

NRA?

Similar follow up question to the one that I asked CScott and also personally weighed in on with my own answer; What percent chance would you assign to this chain of events occurring in Trump's current term and 2nd term, if he gets one?

Chain of events? I’m not god I don’t pretend to know exactly how it will go down, all my inside info died Feb of 2017. If Trump does not resign, is not impeached by a Democratic controlled house and 67 Senators and or decides to run in 2020 he will have at least one challenger from the right to deal with, John Kasich and potentially Jim Mattis. He will be gone by January 22nd 2021. Impeachment might come as early as 2019. Resignation is the wild card. Muellers investigation will live beyond this presidency because the attack’s on our election and Trumps obstructive actions continue daily.

I can't really tell from your comment above what you believe the chances are that he will be removed from office by "Impeachment, resignation and or Indictment" over today's plea and/or related events.

Are you saying that you believe the chance are north of 50% that he will be gone?

Honestly 1% he resigns. 1% republican controlled congress impeaches. Mueller indicting a sitting president would be around 50%. Democrats and some Moderate republicans impeaching him in the next two years 75%
99% gone by 12:01 Feb 22nd 2021 1% we are a nation in a cold civil war teetering into a hot one.

My reasons for thinking that removal by impeachment is very unlikely:

(1) There is some chance that he didn't do anything wrong, or even if he did, that there isn't a provable trail of evidence
(2) There is a decent chance that the Republicans will hold too much power in Congress for his full current term and that those Republicans will probably hold the party line
(3) To be removed by impeachment in his 2nd term, he first has to win a 2nd term which is 50/50 and if he does win a 2nd term it is probably because the investigation has produced no real fruit
(4) The cloak and dagger believer in me takes into account that there have undoubtedly been a lot of bad things done by both political parties over the years and yet presidents almost never get caught in the net. This makes me believe that no matter how much dirt might actually be on the president, that it won't stick to him either.

“Some chance”??? I mean, it’s early on, but let’s be honest evidence is stacking up...

List the actual evidence...not news stories, evidence.

Sooooo...you’re telling me Cohen just lied to federal authorities about campaign finance violations that specifically implicated trump? What would be his reasoning for such a dumbass decision?
