Fascism and Nazism. Are those examples of big or small government?
Fascism and Nazism (a type of Fascism) proposes an authoritarian anti-democratic government.
Do liberals favor big or small government? Liberals favor bigger government. Do conservatives favor big or small government? Conservatives favor smaller government.
Depends on the issue. To claim that liberals favor bigger government on all issues is false. On some issues, many right-wingers in our country favor a bigger government.
For example, abortion. On this issue, liberals favor a smaller less intrusive government while many anti-abortion right-wingers favor a larger government that imposes its will on all women.
Your simplistic statements are false.
What's the extreme version of small government? No government. Total anarchy. That's the far right.
What's the extreme version of big government? Total government. That's the far left.
Again, these simplistic statements are false.
There are those on the far left who favor anarchy. Anarchy, as a political philosophy, isn't limited to just the far right. Many ararchists, now and throughout history, would consider themself leftists. They would laugh at you calling them right-wingers.
Also, there are many authoritarians who exist on the right, and the far-right. That is where you find Facism, Neo-fascists, etc.
Fascism and nazism are total government.
It is more accurate to say that Fascism and Nazism (which is a type of Fascism) desire an authoritarian anti-democratic government.
The extreme version of big government is fascism and nazism.
The notions of "big government" and "less government" isn't helpful here. It is about embracing authoritarianism and to what degree.
Yes, you can claim that Fascism and one type of Fascism, Nazism, embraces a strong "extreme" version of authoritarianism. But so does some forms of Communism. Some, not all. Communism is a left-wing political philosophy while Fascism is a right-wing philosophy. Again, the embrace of authoritarianism can be found on both sides of the political spectrum.
The left wants big government. The far left version is total government.
Fascism and nazism is the far left.
Again, your first statement is false, as it has been shown to be false. Which of course is just one reason why your second statement here is also false.
Nah, it's just common sense. Take my hand, I'll walk you through it:
Thanks for your attempt to walk me through it, but you just failed miserably. You made numerous false statements that can (and were) easily proven wrong. You also have a very simplistic and misguided view of political philosophies.
Your orignal claim that Fascism and Nazism (a type of fascism) are left-wing is blatanly false. They are far right-wing political philosophies and they always have been.
I suggest you do a little bit more research. Research that doesn't involve only right-wing propaganda sources too.
