Trump changes his Russian tune

he's turning in to a great politician....there was no way he wouldn't. Maybe he won't get worse, but being around all those nasty sob's it's got to rub off on you.
I thought politicians were supposed to be bad and he was supposed to be different.

So, once he becomes a politician, he's gotta go, right?

What’s the deal here if trump didn’t make a mistake?

He was too afraid to say that in front of putin but planned to say it when he got home?

He reviewed the info on the plane and changed his mind?

How is this different than saying there are 57 states?

Because Putin is a piece of shit and the leader of the free world shouldn’t be winking at him. When people laugh at shit like Obama bowing to a Japanese guy and then this gets considered nothing. That’s ridiculous to me.

All this talk about America being perceived as weak the last 8 years and in contrast to the rhetoric Trump was pushing with our NATO allies (which I half way agree with) it was just a sorry sight to me.

no way baby...we're keepin' him.

Here's the thing that's blatantly sad about the last 2 days: Some people are incapable of independent thought and are going to support Trump no matter what he says or does. On the other hand, others are going to demean and berate him no matter what he says or does.

I said yesterday that his comments regarding Russia were ridiculous. Others were quick to defend those ridiculous comments.

Turns out Trump agreed with me.

Trump says stuff all the time that is to be taken with a grain of salt, he’s a walking contradiction. How many times has he said it with Putin right next to him?

So he thought putin was going to jump on him like mr peepers?

Why does the media get to decide when we take things with a grain of salt or have a coordinated global hyperbole meltdown?

Funny how the Hispanic border kids have gone the way of Cecil the lion and Kony 2012

man i tell you what. he shoulda punched ol putin right in his commie mouf.

Yes, that was the only other option.

Interesting thought exercise. Not you so much - you are pretty cool - but tell me - what could trump possibly have done or said that would make someone like @syskatine nod thoughtfully and think 'good job man' ?

I only say that because even though I think what he said definitely did not feel like the right thing to say on the public stage - often such things he's said look a whole lot different down the road (ie. "wiretapping), and I can't think of anything he could do or say that wouldn't have resulted in fake as shit outrage.

For a faction of voters he could have punched him and it wouldn’t have mattered, you’re right. But even if he had said what he is claiming he meant to say today, that would been loads better. But the syntax of that sentence doesn’t seem to fit that claim for me.

It was capitulation on a level of the forgiveness tour if you ask me. Above all I wish he wouldn’t have met with him, publicly in that format. I’m very anti-authoritarian and loathe politicians in general and I hate to see Trump or any American President have a public meeting and give even the slightest compliment to the Putins, Ergodans and Duertes of the world.

That makes no sense. He just finished shitting on a massive Germany Russia energy deal, dragging his nuts across NATO freeloaders and giving Justin Trudeau a wedgie in his own country. But, lil vlad intimidates Donald J Trump? no, man. c'mon.

Dumb thing to say? maybe, we'll see. Capitulation is not in the guy's DNA.

You bringing up the treatment of the other heads of state is my point exactly. I honestly don't think there was a problem with the way Trump spoke to them or treated them. It's what he ran on, he's backing up what he says. I might not AGREE with all of it, but at least it's politically honest. MAGA and all that.

Now, contrast that with this display with Putin. He had a perfect opportunity to put TDS (as you all put it) into overdrive and he didn't seize the opportunity. Why? It was a perfect chance to make the left have to do mental gymnastics.

Maybe it isn't in his DNA, maybe what he did was learned or effected.

Anybody remember who said these things and what it was in regards to? Just curious.

"We have received the relevant [FBI] briefings," White House Press Secretary XXXX XXXXXXX said. "We believe there's no basis for any change in our policy toward XXXXX, which is one of engagement."

"I do not know whether it is true or not," President XXXXXXX stated. "Therefore, since I don't know, it can't... and shouldn't affect the larger long-term strategic interests of the American people in our foreign policy."

Not agreeing with what he said, but if he would have jumped putin's ass and got in his face about meddling the media would tie it to collusion then call Trump out for trying to start WWIII. Shit really gets old.

Putin is a dirty commie.

We'd be stupid to ever trust a KGB pinko like him.

Anyone who still calls Russians "Communists" should see that the so-called State-controlled RT openly calls Bolshevik communists "brutal murderers"

Today is the 100th anniversary of one of history’s biggest moments.

Putin wants to return Russian back to the era of imperialist absolute monarchy.

With him as Tsar for life.

Which is just as bad as Communism.

Could be true — but he’s definitely not a communist.

He's a dirty commie and you know it.

Modern Russia (under Putin), is far, far away from the government under the Bolsheviks / Lenin / Stalin etc.

I’m not saying they don’t have many problems (they do), and Putin is definitely an autocrat — but they aren’t a communist country and he isn’t a communist leader.

That’s a dumb, uninformed statement for you to make — and you’re not dumb.

One of the reasons Putin became popular is taking down the Oligarchs who were basically running Russia (and bleeding it dry) after the USSR fell in the 90s.

Research the Russian oligarchs if you want to have your mind blown — there are some great documentaries on them on YouTube.

I’m not defending Putin — just saying you made an inaccurate statement.

That first statement does kind of defend him.

Also, he didn’t take down the Oligarchs. He brutally supported the Oligarchs that were loyal to him and took down their competition,

I appreciate the Mr. Peepers reference. Because the media is comprised of Americans that are educated and informed and they predictably are mortified. You ask that as if they're supposed to ignore what he did. And who would you prefer to rely on for information, the NZ's and Alfs and micromeats of the world? Should we just soak up facts from the clouds?

Not be there. Wth was he meeting that awful leader for? He's a thug.

How do we know the Russians hacked the DNC server?

We don't. Putin is right, the U.S Intel community are making it up. Happy?

@syskatine

I think this is 9% of the big deal that is being shown in the media.

Newsflash: trump’s mouth runs on Diet Coke adrenaline and superior intellect. The shit is moving really fast and it hits some faulty old man aspartame wiring between the brain and the mouth. It happens. We don’t care.

If you watch young trump speak you know he is smart and logical. He became a boorish cranky septuagenarian. Who cares. My dad is going through the same process. Trump is trying to secure my border and keep liberalism in check.

The context of obama gives perspective. Did you defend the Raul Castro attacks? Lucky for me obama opening things up in Cuba with a brutal commie dictator was no big deal either. See how consistency works?

The cia lied to you about the Iraq war? Remember? Think back really hard and don’t betray your inner dove. Were you so hopelessly offended by the attacks on George tenet?

Get a grip and some perspective. You are just one in a school of Fish and it’s embarassing. The right switching in the same way is sad as well. But you are on osu guy. You are embarrassing yourself and our Alma mater.

Putin hated hillary

I hated hillary

He is a brutal dictator. Our country has sat with numerous brutal dictators. Sold them weapons. Propped them up. Traded with them invested in their countries.

Trump had a clumsy press conference with one.

The outrage is being manipulated. Realize it. Get control of Syskatine. Use the male side of your brain and eliminate your emotions.

You have lately tried to speak of being all-knowing in Trump’s messaging and true intent of given rhetoric.

It’s like Trump is God and you’re Jesus speaking to the ignorant and uniformed.

God bless you lol
