Not the best comparison. CStar is a 6th year yoked senior. Angelo is a true freshman.
What he prefers is guys finding their natural weight under conditions of strength and conditioning while using an optimum diet. That creates a bulked up yet lean wrestler.
Before last night has Sealey wrestled any matches in college? I thought he was a 165 or 174 pounder.
That was in fact his very first match. 10-1 MD loss. Way too early overreaction, but I was surprised by that loss.
Cannon was #43 on flo 2023 board.
Sealey was #6 on the 2024 board.
Is Sasso hurt or replaced?
Kasak probably not gonna wrestle tomorrow I would guess (concussion protocol) so I wonder if they give Sealey another go or let someone else have at it.
Thinking about Mocco/Mirasola had me thinking about the log jam they have right now (multiple really but the heavies at the moment).
Next year for 174-197 either Mirasola, Barr, or Ryder will be left out. After this season it’s hard to think Barr hasn’t locked down 197. So Ryder or Mirasola for 184 with Levi at 174. Best case scenario, one of them (Ryder?) sits for a year then cuts down to 174. If they don’t wanna cut though then you have an odd man out. I would take either of them for 184 for us! Preferably Ryder if I’m being honest.
Not saying we should be contacting guys but if they decide to reach out or enter the portal.
I also don’t see a spot for Sealey ever at PSU lol so if he wants to come be 165 for us next year….let Lockett RS or start at 174.

He is 165/174. Wrestled 157 and possibly sick. I'd throw out this result from your memory banks.

Sick after that short notice weight cut to 157. What is Kasak's status? He doing ok?
That wasn't the real Sealy. I understand the skepticism though
He was 164 during certs and that was months ago and he was hurt. So he's not as big as everyone thinks
Heard Sealy was certified at 157/165... My guess is he was walking around way over and cut it all the week of the match. Hadn't actually weighed in since being cert'd, so no basis for descent criteria. He looked better on Sunday.
