To be fair, Bernie had at least a 50/50 chance of winning in 2016 if the left hadn't stolen the nomination from him. People forget, but he was getting crowds that rivaled Trump's and he was getting them legitimately. He wasn't having to do fake AI crowds like Kamala is.

Trump honestly does love his supporters. And he knows how devoted we are to him, and I think that really has touched him. I think when he was shot, after composing himself a bit, he realized that NONE of his supporters had run, they ALL stayed with him.
I think Trump saw no one left, and he just had an emotional and visceral reaction to stand up immediately and let everyone know he was ok.
I hadn't thought of it that way, but as usual you look at things from a different perspective.
For me I was terrified his skull was open and he was a walking dead man. The fist pump was an amazing moment both at the time and when I saw replays. Who does that? Who takes a bullet anywhere on their body and has the wherewithal to immediately (after he got his shoes back on) yell "fight, fight, fight"?
Moments like that are revealing.

Yes I think I heard that multiple media outlets magically covered this rally live after not covering any of his rallies for a year or more. Shocking how that happens.

My position right now is the FBI/CIA groomed this kid. Instructed the SS to stand down, and gave him a free shot.
The range the kid practiced at was full of feds. There’s cellphone ping data showing someone went between his house and a known FBI building 7 times in the weeks leading up to the shooting (that’s approximately when the Trump team finalized plans to hold the rally).
Did they take him out because he shot at Trump or because he missed?
I think it would be alot fewer to allow a free shot.
Site Lead has to understaff greatly, make sure locals have no comms with SS, ensure no one takes a position on that roof. Position the counter snipers such that the position on the roof is very hidden. Making the call to go ahead and put Trump on stage even though a suspected threat was missing on site...then going to breastfeed to get yourself out of harm's way. So one person can do a ton of the work.
