I don't think Trump wins in '24 absent some economic turmoil or third party candidacy that siphons off democrat votes. Prison would finish him off, imo.

Biden is a centrist and institutionalist who will generally always be economically reactive and do little to re-distribute capital. If he or the Dems were going to flatten or simplify a tax code or introduce some kind of ambitious carbon litigation we'd have seen it by now. Uncle Joe is too old to get much done, he's just a steady hand on the rudder, a generic president. I don't think Biden will have much impact on the country's economy in 4 years.

Honestly, democrats are pretty starkly divided by age and geography. Most rank and file Okie dems I know hate health insurance, the tax code, Stitt and Walters, and lots of them are big into environmental issues. Regarding gender, I think the rank and file is wholly reactive to the GOP, most dems I konw aren't motivated by gender issues beyond a basic, "Don't be a dick" ethos and the GOP fear mongering and triangulation over trannies generates their position on that stuff. Oklahoma dems aren't really the same as coastal dems. Younger 20 somethings are more likely to get inflamed over gender and race than older Okla dems, but that's probably everywhere.

Now do your Supplement premiums for a person that is 80 years old. Premiums often rise to amounts over $400 a month for them. That doesn’t sound bad to some of us but keep in mind these people have been on a fixed income for 10 to 15 years and have been decimated by inflation.
Medicare Advantage has it place and is the best option for many.

No offense but how many Medicare recipients have you dealt with? Having spent ten years in that line of business selling and owning a Insurance Agency my number is well over ten thousand. Believe it or not what works best for you may not work best for others. For full disclosure Supplement IMO are better for people but having dealt with thousands of people over the years I understand they do not work for everyone.

I wish you could hear some stories about people about to go under the knife for emergency surgery and they're frantically trying to confirm it's covered at that hospital, and if so, what %, and then get a bill for $85,000 because it was an specific TYPE of emergency procedure that dog-gonit, wasn't covered at that facility! THey got her with an exception she didn't know to look for! Great, capitalistic system right there.

It's insane what our health care system has become with private insurance leading the way. Hell consumers can't even read their bills.

Cut out the middle man and the consumers get more and the vendors make more. Why do we give an insurer quasi governmental immunity and let them fix health care prices? It's like the damn mafia and nobody can vote for them.
