Just how many does Trump get to replace this term? Could he get 2 more retirements in Thomas and Alito?
That would make him having appointed 5 sitting judges. Crazy to think about.

They have to retire this upcoming election period.

Hopefully both Alito and Thomas put the protection of the Constitution above their person and Trump nominates 2 more originalist to the bench.

Thomas, 76. Alito 74. Roberts, 69. Louisiana does not permit judges to seek election/re-election if they will turn 75 during upcoming term. I think they should all consider retirement rather than risking sudden death during some future democrat presidency.
