That’s okay, Woody, I’ll quit poking you in the ribs. I know from experience (Tulsi, Bobby, Jr.) it is painful to publicly admit someone you admire has turned out not to be who you thought he would be.

Not the shirtless picture but I was effusive in my support for both Tulsi and Jr. only to discover how wrong I’d been about them. But I manned up and admitted my mistake on this very board, even though it was very embarrassing and hard to do. So if I can do it, Woody, you can admit you’re disappointed that Trump is much more bark than bite. As @davidallen used to say: you can do it!

Actually, er, I, uh, do read his links as I have found that he typically takes the title & reads a couple of paragraphs or scans to find a sentence to support his anarchistic agenda and mass links them. Most of the time his links do NOT support his ever morphing positions at all.

You have always been one of my favorite posters on this board (I hope that doesn’t alter how others feel about you). I truly respect your opinion and look forward to your comments. So I’m curious what progress you have seen by the Trump administration in its first 100 days. Can you give a few examples? The first hundred days are supposed to be the honeymoon period where the prez gets his way on almost everything, and then the opposition has figured out how to stymie him, causing a bombastic donnybrook the rest of the way. I think Maher is right that the MAGA’s *should* be disappointed in his presidency so far. But based on my interactions with the MAGA’s on this board I don’t think they are capable of emotionally considering that possibility. I said in another comment I have realized the MAGA’s love him because the Democrats hate him. As long as the Democrats hate him the MAGA’s will revere him with godlike status. I hate the Democrats as much as any MAGA on this board. But then there is a lot about MAGA I hate as well. IMO the smartest thing the Democrats could do is shut up about their hatred of the man and sit back and watch him implode by his own doing. That is the only thing that could cause some of the MAGA’s to abandon him.
Well I think it’s weird that you rail against an opinion you haven’t bothered to read just because you’re mad at the guy who posted it. I would probably disagree with a lot of your opinions if you posted them, but I don’t think I’d let that make me mad at you.
