Two heroes -- I can't recommend this interview enough. Especially for younger people.
It's sad how mainstream American journalism has fallen from keeping power in check, to protecting power.
Most of it (IMO) comes back to the small number of corporations who own most mainstream media. (and own most politicians, pay lobbyists etc)
Perfect example below: Ted Koppel ("probable left-leaning journalist") playing the role of right-wing neoconservative government spokesperson in advocating the Iraq war invasion back in 2002.
Political ideology means little to the forces that have been running the show ---- ideology is only a means to the end.
There is a LOT of new censorship taking place across all the major internet platforms --- YouTube, Facebook, Twitter etc.
Much of it is quite subtle, but it's very pervasive --- it's much more overt in Europe (rapidly dwindling free speech, no first amendment protection), Asia etc.
Paul Joseph Watson talking about the censorship on YouTube.
