So funny

Dan took half nickel's shift this weekend. That's a true buddy.
What was said that is incorrect? Look, I’ve made no bones about preferring Trump over Harris. But nothing the coach said seemed to me to be incorrect. Here’s an opportunity for you to set the record straight. What did he say about Trump that was in error?

Wow! Not the time or place to say things like that. But now that he’s said it is there anything he said that was incorrect?
Hard to call a guy who was a billioinaire and world-wide celebrity long before he ran for president, a wanna-be. So that parts clearly incorrect. Which makes about 2/3rds of his entire rant based on a false premise. So yes. He said a lot that was incorrect.

By the way, I don't think he's that great a coach. He's just been fortunate to have coached 2 generational talents in Tim Duncan and David Robinson, and is now coaching a 3rd potentially (and yet still can't win).

Edit: It hit me. Someone ought to setup a booth in-front the arena for the next Spurs game giving away MAGA hats.

That’s brilliant!

I interpreted his comment that Trump is called the “blue collar billionaire” for a reason. He’s crass and unread and never fit into the “cultured elite” crowd where he wanted to be accepted. His celebrity centers around an element of sleaze that he cultivated for decades. And in that regard I think the coach hit the nail on the head.

Lots of personal attacks. Acting like the type of person he is describing. Acting like a child who can’t get his way. Pop sounds like the wannabe.

Pop has always been a bully and an ass.
This has been the election politics for this cycle.

"Trump is bad because he disparages people so I'm going to disparage Trump and his supporters and then claim moral superiority."

One this is irony on a biblical scale. Second, moral superiority is a myth. It only works if everyone is working on the same moral standards and we left moral standards behind in the 1960s with the sexual revolution. Give me one American moral standard that is universal across the US. If you are truthful to yourself you will say I can't find one, which then leads you to realize why we have such a divide on our culture and leadership in today's society. The largest section of society that still has common standards would be Christians but that segment is no longer the majority in the US.

The other thing is that Trump has been wildly successful in the business world and beyond. No offense to Pop, but he’s just a basketball coach. Trump was the president of the United States. What Trump has is so far superior to anything Pop has. Pop just embarrassed himself. It’s sad.

Popovich is an idiot. What people like him now fear the most is being shown how wrong they are when Trump is elected and all the things they have expressed don’t come true.
Under Trump, more funds were steered to historically black universties than any other president. Check it out.

Today middle America is saddled with an all time record $1.1 TRILLION credit card debt so Fox Business and Morgan-Chase tells me.

Offense to Pop. Pop is an ignorant basketball coach. I'm not quite ready to charge him with lying. Probably just ignorance. Last testing shows an avg. US IQ of 97.4.

So if you interpret and extrapolate what you want to hear from what he said, then sure. But you asked what he said that was incorrect. I stand by my (correct) answer.

And where do you get unread. He wrote a NY Times bestseller (The Art of the Deal) back when doing so actually meant something.

Now that’s funny! The man has bragged that he doesn’t read, and if you’ll be honest with yourself you’ll admit he comes off as such. As for *writing* a book (not reading one) do you really believe he didn’t have a ghost writer?

Doesn't read and unread are not the same thing. I'm very well read and very educated, but I don't read much anymore. Its too long form and I'm too old. That doesn't make me unread. Trump has a Harvard degree from when getting a Harvard degree actually meant something. But I understand. You are highly susceptible to propaganda efforts, so you continue to believe what you want to believe. But remember, Trump was considered a great businessman, was loved by Democrats, popular with Oprah, The View, and all those leftists that love to bash him now, before he ever ran for president. He didn't suddenly get stupid. He simply changed teams and then proceeded to beat the anointed one and has since been ridiculed, derided, physically assaulted, etc. by the left ever since.

I don't think Trump is stupid, and I didn't get the feeling the coach thinks he's stupid, either. But he's not particularly intelligent. And he is decidedly not well read, even he will tell you that. He went to Harvard at a time when rich and connected people were given priority; I'd bet an 18 year old Donald Trump would not be accepted today.

A very highly respected and loved Donald Trump changed parties at 67 and overnight became a womanizing racist.

All of these musicians, actors, and sports figures should all STFU. They are not smarter than everyone else because they are celebrities. Many in this country do not worship celebrity, I don’t. Jock sniffers and cleat chasers are some of the worst.
