Alex Dieringer and Jason Nolf are so similar. 3 Time Champs, some of the best ever at the NCAA level, absolute class acts, just happened to be behind the Team USA all timers.

Heartbreaking neither had the chance to rep USA at Worlds/Olympics because I'm positive both would have brought home some hardware. But alas, onto bigger and better things for both.

Up 2-1 and just went limp with 20 sec left. Try to avoid the action and Blaze got in on a leg with about 6 sec left. Daton was grounded but blaze lifted half his body up for a 1 pt push out

I’m still trying to wrap my head around this. Can someone explain to me how criteria doesn’t punish wrestlers for scoring first?

Zahid’s takedown is worth less than DT’s takedown.

I don't like it either. Not sure how one TD is worth less than another TD just because it was last. If scoring is the same, then there should be sudden death 3rd period where any point is a win. Seems obvious but I guess the Olympics doesn't want to gice any more time to wrestling.

Gilman had something to say to Blaze after he beat Daton. Gilman and blaze had an exchange and Gilman was smiling while talking.

Wonder what was said, hoping it was something on the lines of can’t wait to see you in Stillwater.
