Dems real concern is the shifting of population to the 'red' states. Come 2032, Florida and Texas will each likely gain 2 or 3 more congressional seats (and thus EVs) while California, New York and Illinois will each likely lose at least one seat if not more. The "blue wall" is shrinking rapidly. As it stood this year, Harris would have won the election 270 to 268 if she had managed to swing her 3 "blue wall" states (PA, MI, WI). But come '32, it won't be enough alone, so Dems have to find a way to either eliminate the EC or find in-roads into the Sun Belt.
Such a concern that Democrat operatives in the census bureau magically made never before duplicated mistakes benefitting Democrats in the 2020 Census. This is why Trump cleaning out the Democrat activist from government is imperative. Democrats cheat.
For sure. You have to factor in dim cheating every single time. One of the reasons Trump won in 2024 is his campaign factored in the dim cheating and prepared for it. And, yes, the census cheating needs to end.
