@ThorOdinson13 to pick up where we always break off, will this second amendment protect weaponized drones and robots? Government is using robots and drones to kill people now... You always say the citizenry needs the same weapons as government.

Just think if the protesters weren't allowed to be there, cops wouldn't have had to be there PROTECTING them only to get shot.I do have a question though. Why don't you have a hate boner for the first Amendment? It's doing a lot more to stir up hate and violence than gun ownership.
Isn't it time for common sense laws controlling what you can say on the Internet or in tv interviews? Since you don't revere the sanctity of the document, surely you must agree it's time we need to get control over these powerful platforms? Surely the founders never envisioned a time that free speech could target so many people so quickly. A popular Twitter account is far too dangerous and powerful for civilian use.
I like this idea. Eliminating free speech and the right to assemble could go a long way in preventing violence. And the media needs to be limited to what can be spit out on manual printing presses since those were the technology at the time. Why does the media need the 24/7 news cycle on all available platforms? They can do their job just fine with still photographs and print newspapers. After all, without media coverage of the two recent cop shootings there's no protest in Dallas and no motivation for the killer right?
Direct causal effect and that's not debatable.

This person was mentally ill?Dallas psycho probably had more trouble voting and getting a driver's license than her did buying that AR. Feel good, knowing that loser can kill that many that fast? Empowered him, made it easy as pie and you think that's good. I just can't wrap my head around why you types insist on giving insane people the ability to decide who lives and who dies.
Yet another reminder of what a dismal, shitty, backwards, embarrassing failure this gun policy is. The micropenis kills more people in this country than cigarettes.

So how's your gun policy been working out lately?
This person was mentally ill?
F'in awesome by any meaningful metric. Why?
Because it wasn't working out too well in Dallas. I guess that's F'in awesome to you. 5 dead and how many wounded? 7? "F'in awesome." Wow.
And since it was an sks that vindicates you how?

Well, this certainly explains a lot. You think we left off at this point. I believe a more realistic point of view is that you checked out at that point. I've explained this on at least two occasions and @Medic007 on, I believe, two more. No point in wasting time.
That said, what were the shooters motivations?

Obama, is it really you? He clearly stated he hated white people, dumbass. This really isn't a difficult concept. Apparently white folks do not own all of the rights to racism.Sounds like he hated government? Another anti government, gun totin' Texan.
I also think it goes off the rails at this point. Is this where some weapons are excluded under the 2nd because they're not "arms?"

Hating cops and white people implies a hate for government?

He singled out cops. Not plumbers or siding salesmen -- people wearing badges.
I acknowledge its not the same anti-government narrative that righties have been preaching, but it's still an anti-government narrative to supposedly strike back for oppression. How am I wrong?
Whom to believe -- Dallas Police Chief David Brown or syskatine? http://www.rawstory.com/2016/07/dal...niper-attacks-he-wanted-to-kill-white-people/
Not really too tough of a call.
Quoting from the opening paragraph: "...and wounded six more said he was upset by recent police shootings of black men and wanted to kill white cops."
Fish in a barrel, baby.... You read the headline and stopped, huh? Saw what you wanted? Maintain the narrative at all costs?
And to imagine, this guy that shot government officers was from the heart of Jade Helm territory. Remember that one?

"Obama said the killings of the officers were an "act not just of demented violence but of racial hatred.”
Kudos to the man. Now if he'd just address the culpability of the media in all of this. Their constant alarmism, cherry picking, and building of narratives in an attempt to gain their favorite party votes and build ratings is sickening and they need to be called out for it. Free press is supposed to be a watchdog, instead we have lap dogs for each party.
