No, I was calling him out for wearing the symbols of two NAZI controlled, or aligned" political groups. For that I have presented the evidence.

I guess it's possible that someone could go around sporting swastikas, red star pins, KKK garb, etc. and not actually be a nazi a communist or a racist. But that's not what my complaint is, it's about him wearing the uniform of one of the most radical NAZI movements, the Arrow Cross and the Horthy established Order of Vitez as a representative of the US Govt.

There's plenty of places that have presented evidence of his association and employment with anti-semitic newspapers and organizations. But I consider them, as nearly all things of this nature based on somewhat "subjective" opinions. Him choosing to wear the uniform and paraphernalia of groups that were aligned/associated with or part of the Nazi movement has been established by clear and convincing "objective" evidence.

Pehaps I shouldn't say his dad was "fighting as a nazi" but he's choosing to wear the uniform/medal of groups that were fighting with the Nazi's as a mean of honoring those groups. (Would you accept the argument that if someone's dad was a Nazi, that by wearing his Iron Cross, that you could separate the two things?) I mean after all, the KKK (back in the day) also were firmly rooted in the notion that they were fighting communism. So if someone wore their dad's/grandad's KKK Pin, we could all separate out their opposition to communism from the rest of their positions?

That's a lot of reaching. So his dad didn't fight as a Nazi, but did do something regarding communism in the interest of Hungary post WW2/Nazi Hungary, and then received the medal in 1979 to honor whatever it was he did for Hungary. And his son wears the medal in honor of his dad. Seems like a real stretch to draw a sinister picture from that. When I connect the dots the picture looks like chewed spaghetti.

Was is this a big deal suddenly? He surely has done this before, why is it now front and center?

Never heard of the guy until the OP and have no idea whether he is good or bad for the position, just interesting the timing of it all.

Oh, I don't know...... could it be because he was NEVER an official in the Govt before now?

If he wasn't Deputy Assistant to the President, you still wouldn't be hearing about him. It's almost as if something about his circumstances has changed in the last month or so..... I can't quite put my finger on it.
 
Okay wood I get it...the only time someone should be excoriated is after they are in office, otherwise no worries. Wished that was the track record for everyone, cause it seems like this type of shit only happens under certain circumstances....just can't put my finger on which ones.

People act like the medals and outfit were created by and for Nazi's. They have been a traditional symbol of their nation for decades before the Nazi's and after the Nazi's left.

Just because a few members were Nazi sympathizers doesn't taint the whole group. That would mean just about everything in Europe that existed before WWII is tainted. There have been Jewish members before and after the Nazi reign of terror.

Gorka's dad got his medals in 1958 for something that had nothing, absolutely nothing to do with Nazi's.

Again I've heard Mr. Gorka speak many times. He's brilliant on middle eastern affairs and loves the United States of America he will make a valued advisor for President Trump.

This whole issue is nothing but opposition party bullsh!t.

I was calling bs on gun control, the Iran deal, enforced purchases of insurance, etc....you know, calling all that "same exact shit"...shit.

At the same time all you former guardians of freedom over the better part of a decade have been notably quiet about "the same exact shit" happening now that the folks doing it are politically aligned with you.

Sounds good. Not really proof of anything other than that he has a friend in his corner.

I don't know if he is or he isn't. There are plenty of individuals who are adept at hiding their true nature from people they work with.

Hopefully Congressman Franks impression is accurate. Gorka certainly deserves that benefit of the doubt, I would say.
 
I understand my friend hollywood being triggered by this guy (and believe it or not, I consider him a friend).

My dad and uncles fought against the commies in Vietnam. As a result, it should be no surprise that I have a burning hatred for the policies of the Obama administration and the current direction of the Democratic party.
