He has continually made himself and the administration look like a joke.

I want this president to succeed... i think Spicer is holding the admin back. He's a terrible communicator and makes controversy out of nothing.

Go offer Hannity a good salary and let's get this thing right.

It was a gaffe -- they happen.

Gaffes do happen but he's had many in less than 2 months on the job.

Press secs are supposed to put out fires.. not make their own weekly.

Fire him and replace him immediately for the good of the Trump admin.

It's best to never bring up Hitler in situations like that. Personally, I couldn't care less what the mainstream media says about his comment or not. It's just the mainstream media and they really don't have the gravitas they once had at all.

Yep, best not bring up Hitler. Lol

Of course, the long list of celebrities who compared Trump to Hitler never suffered consequences for doing so. (They know who writes their checks)

Of course, Trump still won the election -- the meltdowns will forever be timeless =)

"Among those to make the Trump / Hitler comparison: Cher, John Legend, Spike Lee, Bill Maher, Louis C.K., Roger Waters, Whoopi Goldberg, Eva Longoria, Sarah Silverman, Billie Joe Armstrong, Maynard James Keenan, Russell Simmons, Ken Burns, and some cast members of Saturday Night Live."

I heard that Hitler only did you know what to you know who because they were trying to establish a "Culture of Critique" in Germany.

Those are celebrities.....not spokesman for the President....or for anyone else except themselves.

You really ought to stop treating Trump and Spicer like they are just another celebrity. There is a higher bar they are expected to clear, IMO.

This is something I feel like you don't understand and I fear Trump and Spicer don't either..

They happen too often....for the spokesman that is supposed to be explaining away the gaffes that others in the administration make.

A qualified spokesman simply can't be the repeated source of the gaffes when speaking of behalf of someone else. Seriously bad optics.

Valid point. I don't follow Spicer that closely, but if he is truly a regular gaffe generator, I can agree.

Spicer has made too many mistakes. He needs to go. Personally I don't think they need to have a presser but once a week instead of daily.

Obviously there would be exceptions, like bombing foreign countries and such.

Why not Perino? She would be much better than Ann Coulter. Ann would be female Sean Spicer... spewing controversy. Perino may not be a Trump fan boy (or girl) but she knows how to do the job.

Ann Coulter would be worse than Spicer, IMO.

The White House Press Spokesperson needs to be someone that doesn't have a controversial bone in their body, IMO. Their primary job, IMO, is to soft sell potentially controversial issues and actions in a manner that is non-combative and doesn't generate any further controversy. Give the MSM boring sound bites and information for them to report as "WH spokesman today said...." and be done with it....whether they believe it or not is irrelevant.

A WH spokesperson that is at war with the media....main stream or otherwise....and in doing so generates more ammunition for the media...is a BAD spokesperson. Statements should be prepared and not off the cuff. They should stay on message....whatever the chosen message is. If you get a question that requires you to guess or speak too far from your message, there is nothing wrong with saying that you will confer with the policy makers and get back with them at a later date.

A WH spokesperson is a messenger of approved messages....not a policy maker.

Just my .02.

The only people who give two damns about Spicer's comment are people who never voted for Trump to begin with and never will vote for Trump in a million years. The Trump Administration did not lose one single voter over the Spicer comment, so let the mainstream media try to ratchet up discord all it wants. They need something to keep them busy, anyway.

I voted for Trump and i care. It distracts from Trump's true campaign goals... jobs, immigration, taxes, etc.

This is a patently false statement.

I didn't vote for Trump. There are portions of his policies I agree with, and some I disagree with. I want to see him succeed in office and fix those things he can. Spicer is a hindrance to that, IMO.

Meanwhile, we had a Supreme Court Justice who called Lindsey Graham a woman today. While that designation would seem to be at least partially true on most given days, it's quite obvious that Lindsey Graham was more than likely born with a set, it's just anybody's guess what happened to it since the day of his birth. Anyway, if Spicer needs replaced then hopefully President Trump gets to work replacing Granny Ginsburg ASAP.
