Question for likely Dem voters...

Like what? Name a few and win us over.
I am not here to "win you over" , the best thing to do is to find an historically objective documentary or book or articles on how Hitler campaigned and make your own conclusions, to me it was so similar its disturbing, but you have to look at his and Trump's entire campaign as a whole to get the full impact. Its easy to point out individual things that are similar, but to me that comes across as someone just griping and thats not my intention..........Watch several documentaries with an open mind and I think you would be amazed

Clinton and Obama have literally set the state of Iran on course to have nuclear weaponry. The mideast will one day glow because of this. Trump supporters laugh when we're told how dangerous Trump is.

Well, Iran was within a month or two of being able to produce a nuclear weapon, what would you have done?

President Bush had an easy option on the table that would have set Iran's Nuclear program back decades and refused to implement that option. That was our last chance for an "easy" option

Bush/Obama/Clinton, all globalists who had forever to adequately address Iran nukes and didn't. The Republican base has repudiated Bush and the globalists. In supporting Trump we acknowledge their collective failure in keeping the world safe. Hillary Clinton is simply a continuation of everything the left has decried for the last 20 years.

So, what would you have done? Despite sanctions Iran was months away from testing a nuclear weapon with zero monitoring.............Sanctions were not working..........nothing that would have been done would have been perfect, but you have to do what you can

I would've began by treating the world's #1 exporter of terrorism as an enemy. That was never done by the current president.

A brief summation from you would suffice instead of you doling out a homework assignment. I feel as though I'm supposed to prove your point for you instead of you doing your own work.

Do you understand how this makes you look?

You have to go look at the stuff objectively, I am not trying to sway anyone's vote, just think its amazing how both their campaigns seem to be very similar

I'll be blunt. I thought your original claim of Trump's campaign being similar to Hitler's as being a bit looney. But I was open to examining evidence and reassessing, so I asked you for just a few similarities that you say exist.

I won't beg. You have zero street cred. Have a nice day.

Its up to you, but to just list different similarities does not do it justice, you need to look at something that covers his entire campaign, may people much smarter that me have alluded to it, I happen to study military history so it hit me right off the bat, but I am not going to sit here and try to convince anyone........now if you want me to convince you that the Big Bang really happened, I could do that!

Well, since you apparently don't have the knowledge to actually post how it is they are "very similar," I'll help you out.

Hitler worked his way to being head of the DAP. Hitler then created a private army that was used to terrorize and kill his political opponents, and others as well. He gained popularity among the people of Germany with his anti-capitalist and anti-Semitic rhetoric, along with his promising to end the paying of war reparations and to tear up the treaty of Versailles. He ran for President but didn't win, so he continued to direct violence against his opponents and the populace until the President made him Chancellor of Germany. Once he was Chancellor, Hitler convinced the President to enact the Reichstag Fire Decree (arson fire at the Reichstag was blamed on the Communists...) which enabled Hitler to suspend civil liberties. Hitler used this time to suppress non-Nazi propaganda, often with force, to ensure that only the Nazi Party's propaganda was received by the citizens. Hitler then used intimidation, violence, and imprisonment to wreck his political opponents in the Reichstag so they wouldn't be able to vote against the Enabling Act (Communist Uprising!) which would give Hitler plenary powers (the SA surrounded the Reichstag the day of the vote and Hitler stated "It is for you, gentlemen of the Reichstag to decide between war and peace"). Hitler used those powers to control almost every aspect of the government (except military control and the power to negotiate foreign treaties) and imprison and execute his political opponents legally. When President Hindenburg died in 1934, Hitler promoted himself to Fuhrer. The rest is history.

Donald Trump was a businessman and reality TV star before entering politics. Trump decided to run on the Republican ticket. During the primaries, his message was one of stopping illegal immigration, returning jobs to the US, fighting ISIS, rethink relationships with foreign governments, decreasing government regulation, lower taxes, repeal 0bamacar, etc, etc. Trump won the primaries and thus became the Republican nominee. He named Pence as his running mate. He's said some smart things. He's said some dumb things. He thinks Hillary is a crook (can't blame him there). His messaging is sometimes strange and contradictory. He says he wants to make America great again. He's calling out Hillary and the Dem's crookedness.

Yep, there are SO many similarities between their "campaigns." Huh. I can't believe I didn't see those before...

UK backed himself into a dark corner. Let's see how he does. I'm thinking not very good.

I messed my last post up....but, I have to go to a Halloween party right now , so I will answer later.............they said pick a scary costume........so I am going as Donald Trump and my wife is going as Milana (sp)!

UK, yes I know the US was a signatory of the treaty and also a proponent of The League of Nations, which just like the UN was/is an abject failure.

When I talk about the will to win a conflict with total destruction, sorry I disagree with you and what NATO as a whole would do. Find it extremely hard to believe NATO would surround a town like Aleppo and annihilate everything inside that town, especially if it were a predominately muslim population.

I definitely want to stick with the Brits, Canadians, Aussies, Japanese & South Koreans but can't see many others that would add much to the mix.

People don't have the stomach for totally annihilating an enemy anymore. The same groups that show pictures of injured and dead women and children with the plea to do something. Turn around after something is done and deliberately lie about causulties and atrocities.

I think you forgot the next paragraph detailing Hillary's rise to power, suppression of dissent, assassination squads etc.

David Duke? Bwa ha ha ha ha

Hee hee! He really relates to Trump, doesn't he? Let's pretend that today's white supremacists don't love Trump and ask why anyone would be reminded of the nazis, like that doesn't count. The closest thing we have to Nazis today generates pro-Trump propaganda. Why?

Yes. White supremacists are a huge problem.

Great limb to climb out on.

LOL The Russians hacked the DNC and are slowly releasing emails to influence the election. Who do the commies love?

Ronnie supposedly beat them and now Donnie kisses their arse. That's how far that party has come. They/Trump just like hostile authoritarians over fellow Americans I guess. That's what chickenshit people they are. Deeply chickenshit. Gave up on OBL because it was too hard and now this. Thank god we have republicans to second guess Obama's foreign policy, though.

Nice job of repeating the Clinton campaign talking points. Problem is that it's all talk and could very likely be misinformation to make lemmings feel better.

The perpetrators hurl the words "Nazi Republicans, Leave Town or Else" along with their bombs and then CNN blames it all on Trump. You just can't make this chit up.

Quick note on the discussion that Trump campaigns in a style similar to Hitler.

This is a half-baked concern at best, assuming legitimacy.

What made Hitler Hitler was everything he did once he attained power. Were his motives or underlying philosophies generally viewable prior to coming to power?

Do Trumps motives/philosophies parallel?

If you say 'yes' to that last question, maybe there's a reason to even bring in the "Hitler" boogey-word.

If not, then what in the hell is your motivation as a poster, since you seem to only be speaking to campaigning on populist/nationalist rhetoric (and not the possibility of Trump engaging in genocide and starting a World War)?

There's a longstanding meme about inserting Hitler into online debates.

So is Trump going to ask Obama to enact the Hillsborough Fire Decree that gives Trump the ability to suspend our civil liberties so he can kill and imprison Hillary supporters to eliminate any opposition to the Enabling Act he's going to try to pass in November? Sounds legit.

Sorry to stereotype, although you shouldn't mind since it's done all the time by the left, but whose supporters most likely firebombed the Republican headquarters? It couldn't be the Dems, right? They haven't had any issues with violent protests and what not in the past year...

Their protests are nearly as violent as the Communists.
