Qualifiers Released

Wow, so their Heavyweight loses a year of eligibility?
Yes, but I think they plan on having his little brother in by the time his eligibility and the will overlap. I am sure it was his choice, too bad for him he didn't have enough time to get ready.

Ohio State doesn't qualify a 197.

I'm looking mainly at Oklahoma State, Iowa, Penn State, Ohio State, and Minnesota.

I'm saying he wasted a year of eligibility attempting to come back from injury....

Either way he would have lost this year since he redshirted last year. Why not try to make it to the NCAA tourney.

I don't think it was an "attempt" back from injury he was cleared, the injury and recovery in the past and he was their best HWT, so why not wrestle? Even as turned out, he gained experience for next year.

Penn St. getting 9. It had been looking like a really good chance they'd only get 7 with issues at 165, 184 and HWT.

There was no issue at 184..he was AQ

Did you see him in the dual against Koepke and Boyd? Koepke was beating him before the injury default and after Boyd, looked like no way he could survive the B10 tournament. He somehow managed to beat Koepke twice at B10 and report I heard is that the knee wasn't wrapped as in the duals.

Yes..Saw the matches you're referring to. I was just pointing out that you thought they may only have 7 and he clearly got AQ over the weekend. He's still not 100% and hopefully he can heal up in time for nationals and try to get a low AA spot

As said, it was "looking like" they'd only get 7.

Yes..but you posted that TODAY (after B1Gs). So I assumed you meant after B1GS, you thought they may only get 7 and I was just stating they already had 8.

I think what you meant to say is "going into B1Gs" it only looked like they may get 7 with problems at 165,184, HWT.

then don't assume, in a thread we are discussing today I couldn't go back and post it a week ago. It was obvious as of Sunday that 8 were in.

Normal PSU Wrestling fan...assumptions, conclusion jumping and mid reading are not only characteristics, but they believe them to be super powers. It may not happen for a long time, but I sure hope you guys fall back into obscurity in the Wrestling world. Its hard to root against Cael or any young man that grinds through a D1 season...but I would relish suffering from the fans.

My mistake, for some reason I was thinking he was a true freshman.

Just lookng through the qualifiers again and I noticed the big 12 qualified 8 at 125. That's 80 percent of the conference!

Rumor is that Moisey is out and Laney from Ohio got his spot. Just guessing.... That elbow might be just too hurt. That's a bad break for Moisey.

That is too bad. Seemed like a nice kid. Eddie seemed like he got along with him off the mat very well.
