Looks like Heil will have a tough match gives up an early TD to Racciato and Heil with the escape. Scramble situation Heil gets the other leg and gets the 2. 3-2 Heil. Heil riding trying to turn him but the period runs out with 1:06 RT.
Heil tasks top in Period 2. Racciato nearly out on a scramble but Heil puts him back down and RT over 2 minutes. Dean going for the tilt but they roll through. Restart with 30 seconds to go. Heil rides out period 2. still 3-2 lead but nearly 4 minutes of riding.
Heil down to start period 3 and he is cut loose for 4-2 lead. Heil with duckunder takedown and gets a 6-2 lead. wow he just converts everything. 1 minute to go. Racciato rolling both with an ankle and the period runs out 7-2 with 4:40 RT. Dean with a nice win over #5 Racciato.
Collica gives up and early TD and escapes. whats with the early TDs given up?. that's 3 matches in a row. Collica and Heil both have Ohio friends and family in the stands. Collica with a double leg TD now up 3-2. He rides out the period.

Collica on top. leading 10-4 Building RT. Has riding time locked up and gives up the escape 10-5 Needs the TD for the major. On the edge and gets the TD 12-5 30 seconds to go. off the edge 16 seconds to go. WIll end the match 13-5 and 2:45 RT. 14-0 Good guys.

Joe on top to start Period 2. On the head again with an arm on the back. Stall warning on Pitt. 2:30 RT and mounting. Still working for a turn. another stall warning gives Joe a point. 4-3 rides out the period with 3:17 RT

Cruthmer out quickly 7-1 Double leg TD 9-1 Cuts him loose 9-2 RT point locked. 30 seconds left. scramble and they go off the mat. Crutchmer double leg TD. and period ends 12-2 over 2 minutes of RT.

SOme heading butting and Marsden gives up a point retaliating. A ref review. Andrew Marsden in OT oh brother. and Marsden get s the TD in OT 6-4 win! still talking it over. Commercial break. 33-0 Cowboys. That was ugly.
Now the big guys. Sullivan aggressive grabbing a leg but Austin away now gets a TD and up 2-0 Austin riding tough with a minute to go. How about a pin for a change? Sullivan escapes 2-1 time runs out.

Not bad win but not as sharp as Friday nite. We gave up several early T D s which was very odd.
first shutout since 46 -0 win over clarion a few years ago.
You have to like Harding's win over #16 and Heil looking sharp against #5. Alex with the 24 second pin.

Two (2) major hiccups of 1 minute or more by Rex. At the start of the Collica match we came back from break and found that a takedown and an escape had been scored. It was more than a minute after that announcement before Rex mentioned in passing that Collica had the takedown. Every time there was a scramble Rex spit out a lot of words but few illuminating words to know what was going on. The 2nd lull of over a minute was in the heavyweight match in the 2nd period when Rex repeated ad nauseum that the ref said it was a team point against John. He repeated this in a number of ways and in the meantime there was a heavyweight match going on in the background and no reporting of it.This is almost understandable during a Marsden match but Still....
John interviewed. Happy about all of the riding time this weekend but we didn't get turns today like we did Friday.
Dean has faced nearly everyone of the top dozen 141 guys and is now 16-0. He will face #6 Manley from Mizzou on Friday nite.
If he wins that he should be able to run the table and get the #1 seed at NCAA finals. Very impressive.

well i would call that a productive road trip, way more offense and yet still some things to work on when we get home so no time to rest on the laurels........i know i sound like a broken record but this team is really fun to watch and will have a chance to win it all this yr. we may not be the favorite but every team has holes. Go Pokes!
I think checking your phone for messages, taking a bathroom break, and going for snacks are very appropriate for a Austin Marsden match. Why not a few words about the score by Rex?
