Piccininni

Just watched his finals match from Flo Wrestling Championship last year. Kid blew up the #1 ranked wrestler that was a sophomore at 120. 10-2 MD, it was over within the first 30 seconds with a takedown and 2 point near fall. Will be excited to see him at 125 next year.

Watched his match against Kaid Brock of Stillwater. 3-2 decision for Brock. I'm assuming Piccininni will be a 125 and Brock will be 133 next year at oSu.

Hopefully we can redshirt one or two of these guys and let them develop.

Piccininni looks large and may have trouble holding 125 for four years so this will be interesting. It will be great to have two top recruits coming in at those weights.

Who am I to say Piccinninni looks large as I weigh twice as much as he does?

125 AA's since 2000
2000 - Jeff Ragan 6th
2001 - Matt Brown 6th
2002 - Skylar Holman 6th
2005 - Coleman Scott 8th
2006 - Coleman Scott 5th

No AA's since 2006.

It would be interesting to see an AA chart per weight since 2000. At a glance 197 might have the most with 9 out of 14

Teague Moore would have been an AA 1997-99, so that was a good stretch. What is most impressive to me (if I am remembering correctly) was that Ragan and Brown didn't start until their senior seasons. They stuck it out to be one year starters and finished as AA.
