There's a rumor he sexually assaulted a woman a few years ago.

So that means we drop him now, right? If we couldn't support Gaetz over similar rumors, we can't support Hegseth, can we?

Every Republican that is nominated will have some BS said about them. Personally I don't give a shit what kind of accusations are made, unless they have been convicted in a court of law and the appeals process has been completed upholding the conviction, I don't believe a word of it. After all the false accusations Democrats have made over the last few years I don't believe a word of their BS. Call it the "boy who cried wolf" syndrome if you like.

I find it amazing how hard it seems to be to find individuals who will fight for the pro-MAGA agenda that haven't stepped out on their wives. Why is that?

That's not a MAGA problem, its a Washington DC problem.

I was listening to Johnny Enlow speak on this. He runs a foundation that specifically works with twenty somethings in South America, with the express purpose of training them how to advance in politics as CHRISTIAN leaders. They teach them how to apply Christian doctrine to government so that they can affect Godly change in their countries.

He was asked what's the first thing his foundation teaches its students. He said they start with teaching them how to avoid being blackmailed. He said as soon as you reach a certain level of power in politics, you will be invited to parties and they will attempt to get you drunk then take photos, then they have you.

The cold reality is, almsot everyone has some dirt on them. Notice the media and left was desperately pushin Mike Rogers for FBI Director. Do you think he is clean? Or does the left think he's dirty AF and as such they can control him and that's why they want him?

They don't think they could control Gaetz or Hegseth. That's why we are hearing about their dirt, and dont hear about dirt on the people they want.

It totally is, and no charges filed. But still, he likely had sex with a married woman. If we are gonna act like Puritans about Gaetz, we need to be consistent.
He’s cheated on 3 wives and knocked up a GF.

He’s no saint, but that’s not what the country needs from him.

From what I know it sounds like this chick was his handler and, with her husband and kids down the hall, got drunk and they had sex. When she got back to the room at 4am her husband freaked out.

This happened on a Sat. She claims she didn’t even realize what “happened” until she was having sex with her Husband on Monday.

She didn’t go to the clinic for a rape kit until Thursday.

She claims she was slipped something but no one that saw her, including her husband, said she ever appeared overly intoxicated. Even camera footage didn’t indicate she was incapable of agency.

Hegseth said he was actually trying to sleep with a different woman and she followed him to his room and threw herself at him.

This has been investigated and no charges were filed.

Yep, Hegseth clearly has a history of sexual immorality. IIRC, his second wife divorced him when she found out he had knocked up a producer at Fox. Who I think is his current wife?

No idea. If he was nominated to be my pastor, I would care. Same standard I had toward Matt Gaetz being AG. Until then, get these rumors of what happened out of here. That's how we end up being governed by spineless RINOs.

If you use your reading comprehension skills you would see that was addressed but to make it perfectly clear, no I don't give a shit about Trump's conviction. Should have never been charged, never tried and damn sure never convicted. If the crooked judge would finish his job instead of playing politics the appeals court would throw it out.

Trump's Bragg case was a complete joke.

1) It shouldn't have ever been charged as misdemeanor. He was paying a lawyer he had been paying for years.
2) Elevating it to a felony with some arcane NY law is insane, given the judge didn't ever identify the underlying crime he was "furthering" by simply paying his lawyer.

Convicting someone of a felony that they were never charged with, never were able to defend themselves against, nor were ever even accused of (I'm talking about the underlying "crime") is a clear violation of Trump's constitutional due process rights. Bragg should at the very least be disbarred for this.

And you're right, they are violating another Constitutional right (speedy trial) by indefinitely delaying the sentencing so he can go win on appeal.

You want to know how ridiculous this is? Congress has a fvcking slush fund to pay off #metoo claimants.

Got it. You only care about felony convictions when they're slapped on people you don't like. If it's a person you like the conviction is a sham.

Relax, fatman, I'm just having fun with Bearcat.

Im missing the rationale for John Curtis being the one that killed the nomination?
I think the insinuation is he was leading (or growing) a pack of RINOs that would do everything they could to sabotage Gaetz.

Gaetz knew he’d have to be a recess appointment and perhaps didn’t want to give the left that talking point. Plus it would create a narrative for everything he’d try to do.

None of that is true of Bondi.

And now you know who the RINOs are. 3 of them aren't a surprise, but the last one was a bit of an unknown prior to Gaetz. So whether the Gaetz nomination was 4d Chess, or just mistake by Trump, there was clearly something learned (and thus gained) from it.
I don’t believe the 4d chess stuff.

Trump wanted Gaetz but had backup plans in place knowing he was a difficult to confirm candidate.

Not that you care, but technically, he is not a felon until he has been sentenced. That is how the law is written.
You’re right, I don’t care. But it seems to me if someone is found guilty - convicted - of a felony by a jury it would be considered a felony conviction. Whether that makes him a felon I defer to your explanation. But I don’t care, I was just having some fun with Bearcat’s hypocrisy.

Lawfare to stop him from running? Do you give a shit the legal system is used like it has.

You do realize that the lawfare is what got him elected. It opened a lot of eyes as to how partial it was. I thought you wanted what was best for people. I for one , voted for trump because of it. Never voted R before in a presidential election. I would have voted Reagan if I was of age. I guess you’re probably more afraid he will stop the violence in the Middle East again. Typical.
