Artie Lang and Keith Richard's have defied substance abuse statistics

Someone you may not realize was a heroin addict, off an on, for some 15 years+: James Taylor.

Me.

I was told I was no more than 3 to 5 minutes away from dead when wheeled into the Emergency Room. It took about 20 minutes to regain consciousness, but I was fairly certain I was a goner (in my own mind at least.)

Glad things worked out for you.

We need to hear from you more often, btw.

Norman Lloyd, 104. He directed one of the greatest episodes of the Alfred Hitchcock Presents anthology series, before I was even conceived. (Son of the South, starring Steve McQueen and Peter Lorre, based on the short story by Roald Dahl.)

As an actor he did 7 episodes of a TV series just this year (2018) at age 103, but his first career movie appearance was in 1939.

Impressive, I'll share that w/ my dad. WWI started just a few months before he was born......think about that.

Kirk Douglas being alive amazes me.

When he had his stroke, I figured he would be gone soon after.

102. Wow.
