We are all that matters...
I do agree, the sun does revolve around OSU wrestling, but…. It’s always good to get out and get a breath of fresh air and see what else is going on in the wrestling world. It only makes you more grateful you’re a cowboy 🤠. (Kidding to the Penn state fans obviously, and to Vhsalum. Not at all to the rest of the Iowa fans)

We are - Oklahoma State! lol. You guys saw UNI trashing Nebraska last weekend? A lot of upsets by UNI. Keck pinned Allred to finish it.

125: Trever Anderson upset Caleb Smith.
141: Cael Happel beat Brock hardy
149: Realbuto scored 9 late points to lose close to Ridge Lovett.
157: Downey got revenge over Antrell Taylor
174: Pinto did get revenge over Simma
184: Keckeisen pinned Allred
197: Voelker beat McDanel

The fall of Nebraska has to be studied.

Sometimes I forget how strong UNI’s lineup is.

too late. Waves of megalomania have already washed over me, and I'm just gonna let it run its course. 🤣
How do you see Penn State's lineup playing out in two years? Gonna have to sit some really good wrestlers in the upper weights. Kasak, Facundo, Duke, Cunningham, Sealey, Messenbrink, Henkel, Ryder, Mirasola, Barr going after four or five spots in the lineup. You see any of them transferring out?

My best guess (stressing guess), is Kasak, Duke, Mesenbrink,Sealy/Ryder, Barr. That said, they could all start somewhere, and one or two of those I didn't mention could jump a level or two and become a starter. It's also important to remember that many of these guys may end up qualifying for an Olympic RS in 2028, and so that allows some relief in the logjam. Transfers out are less prevalent than you may think. Cael is reportedly a strong supporter post-college in helping his guys get jobs with recommendations and calls. He rewards loyalty with loyalty.

Has Keck indicated what he wants to do post grad? Freestyle, coach, HEW? Dude is an animal.

I am not accusing anyone in particular of anything, but it seems like there are a lot of guys with season-ending "injuries." Is it possible that some of them have an eye toward preserving a redshirt to increase their portal value?

That guy is fun to watch. He won by MD last night, I wonder what happened to him. Hopefully he has a speedy recovery.

Another thing about that dual. Did anyone notice that CC did not wrestle for ISU? Is he hurt or did Schon take over the starting spot?
Carroll hasn't wrestled since cklv I think. I don't know if he's injured or just getting a mental break.

That’s the problem with some of these guys, when their self perception shatters, they can either regroup and step up or linger like a spider on the wind shield of a speeding car. If he is mentally tough enough, he will be great. If not, he will be a great former high school wrestler. Wrestling is a man’s sport and not for the faint of heart.

It does feel like that at times. AAs from ASU, WVU, WYO sitting out expecting bigger payouts and "injury RS"ing seems suspicious. But not all cases are the same I guess.
