I read an article recently wherein the global warming alarmists predict the oceans will rise 6 feet by 2100. Hell, they can't predict what the weather will do in a day or two much less 84 years from now.
Edenhofer was co-chair of the IPCC up through 2015. What difference does it make exactly when he said these things, especially if many are unaware of them? Not all the quotes were that far back.
You true believers crack me up. Most liberals mock religion because it doesn't follow scientific logic but you are all in on man made climate change (global warming) when it is a demonstrated fact that variations in carbon and temperature have been going on since the Earth was created and there is no way to accurately predict Earths future weather. Climate scientists try to use ice pack research to back up their claims but that can have thousands of years variance, but they don't tell you that when they make their claims, it hurts the grant money they receive from scaring everyone.
There is a lot of data, ignored by those that find it inconvenient, that temperatures have not been warming for a while now. If the science is settled tell me what is the temperature going to be on Thanksgiving this year, I've got travel plans?
For liberals and environmental proponents when the closely guarded real intent of their movement is revealed they always obfuscate or deny or outright lie about the comments. It matters not what was said. What matters most is damage control by jettisoning the culprit or devaluing the comments as being from the past and therefore are irrelevant or not believable. When they can't twist or parse the comments the next step is to apologize for making the comments and then say, "I didn't mean what I said". Of course they meant it and usually the truth is the first comments made.

Most everyone wants to take care of the planet and knows there are real concerns, whether it's climate change or conservation. Unfortunately, it often appears as a power/wealth grab. Maybe it should be, but let's have that debate. Right now I can't trust the left on this, even if I believe in man-made climate change.
You always know when wealth and power are the main motivators when something becomes highly politicized. It's amazing how middle ground is lost and polarization occurs in the political class on any topic that becomes politicized.
