I quit giving as much credence to All-NBA Defensive Teams /awards around 2007 when they started penciling Kobe in for first team every year just because the jersey and name on back of it.
So stoked! We live in Huntsville, AL now and Memphis is the closest NBA town aside from Atlanta. Wife and I got a great deal on these seats behind the Thunder bench for game 4! Hopefully games 2 and 3 play out so that I can bring a broom to say I’m just there to help clean up the FedEx forum 😂

Did you go to a regular season or playoff game? Kinda wondering if they’ll be past even caring if they take 2 more whoopings before then
I used to listen to some old wrestling podcasts. Bruce Pritchard in particular. There is a guy that is a multi multi millionaire named Conrad Thompson who owns a national mortgage company. He does co host podcasts on the side with old wrestling personalities(Eric bischoff, good old jr) and others. The conradison is his house which is supposedly the biggest in Huntsville. On a side note if any of you are a big wrestling fan I would highly recommend something to wrestle with. Bruce Prichard was Vince mchmahons right hand man for like 20 years. The older stuff is the best before WWE brought Prichard back to run Smackdown.

But maybe Conrad Thompson is actually a big deal locally & not just someone Ric Flair tries to pump up because he’s married to his daughter?
The Clippers pick actually wound up being #24… but that doesn’t change much.
I definitely don’t see OKC using more than one first round pick this year since they all come with two-year guaranteed contracts. There just aren’t enough spots on the roster.
Yikes, kinda sucks because they’re a Western Conference team I’ve always respected from their Grit n Grind days with Tony Allen. Would’ve been nice to engage with them a bit.

My son and I said, it was just like going to Bedlam in Norman. I have no idea where their bravado comes from.
I actually think Dieng might be back. He’s only 21, which is still younger than literally everyone on the roster other than Topic.
He turned pro at a young age… but he’s still the age of a junior in college & has been statistically better every year, albeit marginally. But at his age, I still think his potential upside is higher than other end of the bench options.
I do think at least one of Ousmane Dieng / Kenrich Williams / Dillon Jones will be gone next year… but my first guess would be Jones since he’s been by far the worst shooter on the team this year across the board (including the two-way guys not named Flagler).
My second guess would be Kenrich because he’s 31 & doesn’t fit the long-term future of a really young team (not to mention Dieng is 10 years younger).
Dieng just won’t play. Kendrich maybe. I bet jones sticks one more year and then he’s likely out,
I’ll actually respect them more if they somehow still have that bravado after two more ass whoopings like that

Dieng’s main issue with playing time this year has been his health, not his ability to get into the bottom of the rotation.
He played the first 16 games of the year before missing a month with a finger injury & then played 9 of 10 before he first hurt his calf in February.
He hurt his wrist the first game back after that, but then came back & played 7 of 8 games before reaggravating the calf injury & missing the rest of the season.
But when he was healthy, he was actually much more involved this year than he’s been in previous seasons.
A TA jersey? If anyone did find one or one they’d be willing lend me, I’d pay overnight shipping and could send back some merch or something from Memphis as a thank you. Since I’d be right behind the bench, that’d be really cool to get on TV.
Could get a Marcus Smart one, but not quite on the same level.

Come on man, he knew. He's been the GM since 2021. He's just a narcissist and didn't gaf, he hated him. Now Dumont didn't (not a Dallas resident or career NBA guy etc.). and is beyond pissed from all accounts from guys like Tim McMahon that are plugged in. Harris gave him no heads up this would make the fan base revolt or cost them money. Nico has next season and his leash is as short as it gets. All damage control and the closed press conferences etc have been forced on him by ownership. The guy is f'd.

You can't can him immediately when you signed off on it, it makes you look just as dumb. Harrison worked for owners that were hands off and not plugged into the NBA on a Cuban type level. Nico got his loophole and took it. The guy was an executive at Nike pre 2021 and Doncic is with Jordan Brand. He knew, just didn't care.
As a former resident of Memphis, Tennessee, I can tell you that it's because it's one of the scummiest cities in all of the United States.
