OK Teacher walkout

Florida is unique compared to Oklahoma because they have a lot less school districts. They are similar to Oklahoma because both are on the low end of funding per pupil (Florida is 41st in per pupil spending).

However, Pilt was incorrect. Florida spends LESS per pupil on administration. Oklahoma spends a whopping 21.5% more on school and general administration than Florida. But they allocate 16% more of their funding to teachers.

This is true, I was looking at the school administration column only and left out general administration.

No this is real lol is this not crazy?

"Well, Oklahomans from every walk of life, across the political spectrum are about to burn down the State Capitol in OKC due to the implosion of the state's education system, so we'd like to hear from Gov. Fallin about what makes for a great education system."

just to keep a perspective...I know a guy who has been teaching most of his life and it was mentioned about quitting and he said no, the money is too good. works half a day 8 or 9 months a hear, gets all the holidays, etc. There are a lot of people who might take that job....he doesn't give a $hit about the kids, btw. I know, probably an isolated story but if he's doing it then you know there are other doing the same thing.

Of course. The ol' antifa dog whistle. They can play that base like a fiddle and watch -- there'll be some wingnuts that play it up.

Imagine if antifa actually killed someone like the right wingers do.
